Nice to see a glimpse of Bianca in her element wielding power as if she were born to it. We really haven't seen too much on the show about Reese dealing with that side of Bianca. Seems to be downplayed this time around along with Bianca's strength. Too bad because it could be key to a satisfying resolution for Bianca to step in, stand up to Erica, Kendall and Zach so Reese can stop her current flailing.
Back to the fic: Getaway weekend, yay! I know it's canon that they go to Marseilles and that's always puzzled me. Marseille's not especially romantic or charming. Some of the small towns between Paris and Marseille are way more beautiful and filled with romance, like Aix en Provence, Arles or Avignon. I think Aix is a regular stop on the bullet train line.
Laduree is one of my favorite places. There and the Sackler wing at the Louvre are the two places I always stop by when I'm in Paris. There's a travelling amusement park that sets up in the Jardin DES Tuileries during school breaks that's great for kids.
Reese is so going to owe Miranda.
