I've kind of been resisting Cara/Dahlia backstory, perhaps out of self-preservation more than anything else, but this is exactly how I could see their relationship happening. Writing from Dahlia's perspective was a really cool idea, and I love how much more of the story it allows us to see. I think the way you wrote Cara in this was perfect, particularly in how you explained the way Cara treated Dahlia, and what they meant to each other.
