All My Children, Why Are You Cancelled?
It makes me so sad I have such little time with Christina's Bianca. She continued to rock it out today.
If Bianca wasn't falling for Marissa before she's definitely doing it now and Marissa? Yeahhhh, she's on her way too. I think it will just take her longer to catch on about it. She'll most likely get it when she begins to miss Bianca like crazy and becomes hurt over Bianca distancing herself from Marissa. Which is bound to happen because I doubt Bianca wants to deal with the heartache of falling for another (perceived) straight woman.
I wish the lighting was better during Bianca's recollection of Michael Cambias and the rape. It's such a great scene and Christina's acting is superb. Some people online didn't like that Marissa had no idea about Bianca's rape but honestly... why would she? Unless she was a tabloid reader she wasn't in Pine Valley at the time, she came along much later, when Bianca wasn't even in town and people don't exactly enjoy speaking about that period of time in Bianca's life. Certainly JR wouldn't tell her about the rape/babyswitch period because it tore him up so much when he had to give away the baby he thought was his then he thought his son was dead.
And Krystal and David? Yeah, I'm really sure they want to bring up how they kept Miranda from Bianca for the first nine months of her life. I like that Marissa didn't know and she found out from Bianca. Powerful stuff.
The last scene with Faux!Erica was so sad you guys. Bianca clearly wanted comfort from her mother and honestly, it's so weird to watch someone who looks like Erica not... super overdoing it with doting and anger on her kid's behalf and it's just the complete opposite of how Erica would handle it. I love Susan Lucci in this part. She's great. I also totally wonder what she was doing with reminding herself that Bianca isn't her daughter? I wonder if Faux!Erica is someone who is somehow connected to the Montgomery family? Like Barbara? Bianca's stepmother and Travis Montgomery's wife at the time he died. Hmm.
Anyway! The show is so good right now. I'm sort of wondering what they'll do with Griffin since I guess Thorsten Kaye is going to come back for the last few months as Zach. Yeesh. I was starting to like Kendall/Griffin too.
ETA: Scenes from Friday! Almost as good.
