S3 L Word Spoilers! I'm Disliking Dana

At long last Showtime has premiered their official first clip of a S3 episode of The L Word and it's Alice on the radio talking about her break up with Dana and showing Dana and Lara canoodling in Dana's condo. For those who want to see the video and save it here's a megaupload link:

I'm writing my S3 angsty Danish fanfic, right? I'm pretty far along with it. Six scenes in and around thirty five pages. I've decided to split it up in five parts and release each part as I finish it. The fic is entirely plotted out and I hope to have the whole thing completed before the S3 premiere. Anyway, I'm writing this fic and Dana is Dana in the fic. I love Dana. She's cute, she's dorky, she's funny as hell, and it sucks ass she's going to possibly die of cancer.

But now I'm irked at her for the condition she clearly leaves Alice in thanks to that promo. Thing is, it's kind of a double edged sword because, dude, I disliked the scene SO much but fucking hell was Leisha good in it. She's going to bring it and rock the house in this upcoming season and if that clip is any sign I think we'll probably get a decent chunk of Alice character development which I do a nerdy fangirl squee at because she's my favorite character.

And yet, I still dislike Dana right now.

Part of the reason I love Michi is the fact that she's a total nerd like I am about so many things. She's way more... intellectual nerdy of course being a student of International Economics and just a general sort of weird genius about money and such things. While I have nerdy knowledge about useless crap like movies, tv shows, music, and comic books.

But anyway, I love Japanese Anime music and I especially love J-Pop or Japanese Pop music. I just think they have so much more fun and silly and just totally frantically wonderful music. I'm also a huge fan of the Dance Dance Revolution soundtracks. Dating Michi, who is a total DDR nerd and has won oh so many fabulous tournaments for playing the game I've discovered a huge mass of DDR songs and albums I never had the chance to hear before. I'm totally loving this song called Crash! by mr.BRIAN & THE Final Band that I've just heard on one of the fifty or so DDR soundtracks I haven't heard yet. It's hard for me to figure out which one because we put all the soundtracks I haven't heard yet into her thirty disc changer and Michi knew the song and the band but not the album. DDR tends to do a lot of remixes of songs and they show up on multiple albums.

I love this song for the reasons mentioned above. It's just sort of goofy and really hyper and I find myself singing along to it. Thus I'm sharing it with you now in hopes I can make you be nerdy like me and sing along as well.
