This cracks me up. Mostly because the singers sound exactly like Tiffany so I'm wondering where the cover or remix part of the song actually comes into effect. I mean, can it be considered a cover if the song is almost 100% the same as it was when it was first created? Or does the cover come into a effect when someone other than the originating artist performs the song? Hmmm. It's deliciously campy though and the girls are wearing some fucking gorgeous outfits.

My god, sometimes I think I'm a cranky gay man trapped in a bitchy lesbian's body. Tis a scary thought. Especially since gay men really annoy the crap out of me at times.

And yes, I do know the Tiffany version of the song is a cover also. But how many people know Tommy James and The Shondells originated the song? Wait. Please don't answer that. Because I don't care. But it brings up another interesting point, which is when so many different people cover a song who really should get credit for it? The person that originated it or the person who made it the most well known to a larger audience?

If it's the latter, then I give the win to Tiffany on this one. Not to insult the older generation.

Here's an actual cover that definitely appeals more to my lesbian side though. Karen Black being fabulous and performing the song Bang Bang with L7 accompanying her. I'm providing the link because embedding has been disabled by the host on YouTube. Sucketh.
