Me thinks you did that on purpose so we'd feel some kind of sympathy anxiety for Reese while she went through a week of emotional estrangement from Bianca. "Strange and terrible, that's what it felt like, being happy to see Bianca but being afraid too." Good line. It parallels how the reader feels...loving the unfolding of their relationship but afraid of the angst they have to go through now and later. As always, the sweet family time between Mimo, Binks and Reese (hey, Reese needs an absurdly cute nickname, too. Hmm, that would make a good thread on the Breese fan forum. I'll get right on that) ties up this installment like a big, bright bow on the present of your latest chapter! My mama taught me manners so I know to always thank someone for a gift...THANK YOU!!
