I <3 South Park, Seriously I Do

If the television show, South Park, was a lesbian I would propose civil unioning within seconds of meeting her. Season 10 premiered yesterday and per usual it was fucking hilarious and brilliant. Like so many other touchy subjects, Matt and Trey chose to meet the news/gossip/speculation surrounding Isaac Hayes departure as Chef due to his sudden realization that Matt and Trey made fun of his cult disguised not so cleverly as a religion in an episode from last season. Mind you, he had this epiphany months after the episode first aired and after doing several interviews saying he had no problem with the episode since South Park tends to equally mock all religions.

Now, if the episode dealing with this wasn't funny enough, Matt and Trey also took out the following ad in Daily Variety. Another proof of their fucking comedic genius.

"So, Scientology, you may have won this battle, but the million-year war for Earth has just begun! Temporarily anozinizing our episode will not stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies. Curses and drat! You have obstructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail! Hail Xenu!!!"

I state again, I want to marry this show and its creators. But only if they magically took the form of a lesbian. And a hot lesbian. One that had Dina Meyer's voice, Leisha Hailey's looks, and Michelle Rodriguez's butchness. Ahhhh. That would be a fucking super lesbian. She also should definitely wear Tina Fey hot nerd glasses. Hm. Is it wrong that now I sort of want someone to create that chick for me? lol. Probably but whatever.

The best thing about this episode was the surprise ending. Chef basically gets horribly killed off and they have this great funeral for him which has an awesome message of don't be mad at Isaac Hayes for leaving, be mad at the stupid ass Scientologists for fucking with his brain during the break. After the funeral it cuts away to the Super Adventure Club Headquarters and leads to one of the best movie parody scenes ever created. I don't want to spoil people on the ending for some absurd reason so I'll just tell you to watch. For the love of god, WATCH! lol. And I now provide the following link to coincide with that freakily nerdish demand.

I agree, great ep! i esp loved that elton john was at the funeral, and the line "Now that you know the secrets of our club, you've left me no choice...I'm going to have to ask you to leave". Haha, I'm a huge fan of the parodied movie, so the end was glorious. My fave line though was probably the last one: "No, I mean my balls." LOL.

I loved Kyle's speech. South Park is fucking brilliant at getting to the heart of things and this speech was almost as good as what the Mormon kid said to Stan about his religion in the episode All About The Mormons. Fantastic. lol. Can you tell I've just watched Season 7 on DVD? lol. Now I need to go watch it with fabulous minicommentary. Yay! Nerdy fangirl squeals of joy.
