The wrong people read and understood my post about feeling blah blah girly neglected from last minute plan cancellations. It was more of a general complaint as it had happened with eight friends within a span of about a week. Also it had to do with Michi who has pretty much been doing this to me for three months. I've talked to her about it but there doesn't seem to be much progress in that area.

What happens is I'll ask if she wants to go out for dinner or something else mundane and coupley and say a precise date and time and then I'll always ask if she thinks she'll be too busy with work and if so it's cool with me, just tell me so and we'll do something else another day. She always says that she'll be able to make it. Even lately when I quiz her with a few are you sure and are you really sure in a skeptical way. I do this because honestly it's like I said before I much rather be told no and be "rejected" in a straight forward blunt matter than to be told that yes, she does have time to hang out and then receive a call an hour before saying that she was wrong and she has to finish more work. I mean, I know stuff comes up but all of the time this happens. Shouldn't some of this stuff be predictable when I try to make plans for us earlier in the week?

This happened again today and thus I got irritated and depressed. When I get this way I do a number of things to feel better. The first is I shop because I'm sad and having pointless items, especially new ones, makes me happy. I'm like a fucking dyke magpie or some shit. Ohhhhhhhhh shiny! Nic wants! Hah. Or something of that nature. I talk to my friends, listen to music, watch television/movies, and play with my dog. First thing I did after getting off work and finding out Michi didn't have time to go out to dinner and then maybe go skating or see a movie afterwards was to head over to Best Buy where I got two new cds and Beavis and Butthead: Volume Two.

Come on! B&B is hilarious. I love Mike Judge's work though. I'm still bummed that King Of The Hill got cancelled. Stupid Fox. They also cancelled Wonderfalls and for that I shall never forgive them. My grudge is eternal. lol. I really love the two cds I got which are from Anberlin and Ima Robot. Just for random info sake I'll say that I LOVE Ima Robot and just bought an earlier cd by them on Amazon.com because it was on sale used for $3.18 including shipping. See why I love online shopping? It's so good it's evil. lol. Here are some of my favorite tracks on the two cds.

Oh yeah! And just for the fun of it here's a super cool Ruslana remix. I also have the video for it linked on my YouTube page which is listed in the links section on the right sidebar of this LJ. It's a spiffy video and features an animated Ruslana. Which is all incredibly Take On Me of her but hey, it's still cool shit. At least to my sad fangirl ass.

Ring Dance With The Wolves (Club Mix) by Ruslana:

After that I went home and ripped the cds onto my iPod and decided to take Vlad for a walk in the park while listening to the new music. Which, call me super lame, I think is way fun to do. Though I think skating in the park and listening to new music might be just as fun. Hmm. They're at equally fun levels I guess. Then I got home and started typing this shit. I'm going now to watch the fabulous Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D List and then Beavis and Butthead which are sure to put me in a better mood. Along with my twelve pack of Dr. Pepper Diet Berries & Cream. And yeah, despite the funky ass name it's a tasty soda and I totally endorse people trying it.

Tis yummy stuff. Pinky swear!

Thanks for the Ruslana hook up. She's my girl! :-)

I hope you and Michi get back on the same page...

No problem. My Ruslana love continues eternally. You should check out her fansite at http://www.ruslana.org/ they have some great information on her upcoming project. She's switching from the "warrior" storyline/theme in her music to science fiction. Which is being developed with two award winning science fiction writers. Cool shit if you ask me.

I wouldn't say Michi and I aren't on the same page so much as never in the same room anymore. lol. We'll work it out though.
