FIC HELP: L Word Carmen Info

I've decided to write the most random ass long L Word one shot fanfic and believe it or not, the fic focuses a huge amount on Carmen. Whom I like but know squat about. So if any people who read this piddling LJ know something about Carmen I'd appreciate some info on her. I'm mostly curious about her family, how many siblings she has, is she the middle child, what the closer family members names are... that sort of stuff. I've done some research already but all I can find is that Mercedes is her mother's name and one of her sisters is named Anna.

As for the fic itself? It's a very fucking odd romantic pairing that for some reason I'm convinced people will like once they get to reading it. sulkygeek is convinced of this as well and did some fanfic author peer pressure to get me to write it as a present for her anniversary so my thoughts are this: If you dislike the fic and pairing blame her, she asked for it. lol. No, not really!

It's true. I guilted and peer pressured her. It's the 25th today and it's my first wedding anniversary! So I demanded Dreiser write this fic and present it to me as an anniversary gift. She was wavering. I had no choice but to pull out the big ones.

But everyone will love it. Seriously. And I will probably follow Dreiser's fic with one of my own with the same pairing because I am a big copycat.

Why is it big guns anyway? I mean...I don't know. It makes sense, but for some reason, I feel like in this context "guns" means "breasts" which wouldn't make sense. But it does make sense with guns being literal. But then I don't know.

Dude. rofl. You're so hilariously cute at times. I've already started on this fic because the opening scene just popped into my head. If you're online Monday, like 10 pm central or something I'll upload what I have so far and you can read, deal?

I've also totally decided to work in that Mysterious Cities of Gold bit into this fic. lol. It works too well considering the pairing.

A Carmen story, eh? That's definitely friendship. I wish I could give you some information about her, but I don't remember much about her. I'm interested in learning more about the pairing, because it doesn't sound like Shane is going to be her mate.

There is no Shane mating for Carmen in this fanfic. lol. I have this weird urge to keep the pairing a subversive secret but if you know my writing tendencies I don't think it's too hard to guess. I'll just say it's not a normal pairing or character focus for me though.

Alice is in the fic though. Because she simply MUST be. I do worship her so.

I don't know what her grandmother's name is officially(other than Abuela), but they seem to be close. After all, Carmen tells Shane in the second season that they can't meet up later that night because she was going to visit her grandmother. Plus, Carmen's grandmother was the first to speak out against her daughter's decision to kick Carmen out of the house.

It also seems like she has a younger brother in the first episode of the third season.
