Eurovision 2007 Semi-Finals Preview

I'm getting more and more excited about hanging out with everyone at Anime Central next weekend and the fact that Eurovision will be airing that weekend only adds to the feeling. I just found a kick ass preview video for the upcoming Semi-Finals airing on May 10th and I just had to share. Good stuff!

Know what else is good? Perhaps even better? The Russian entry for the contest, a bad ass girl band called Serebro singing Song #1. Check it out.

If they wear the sexy hats and do the Michael Jackson dance homage in their live performance I promise that I will make some noise of utter joy. It's just too delicious not to.

Again, I ask the world in general... why the hell is my country so obsessed with American Idol when Eurovision is obviously the only song contest that truly matters? It saddens and disappoints me. Honestly it does.

I know I said that I love the song entries for Israel and Ukraine and I do because they're unique and quirky and really fucking fabulous but dude... I think Russia has it in the bag. Serebro is just too hot and that's one hell of a catchy song. Plus, my god, the hotness! lol.

I'm all about Russia winning this year but Malta and her overdramatic singing and fucked up running really has captured my heart. Plus Switizerland and their dance techno song about Vampires being alive. ::Sigh:: How I do love Eurovision.

I hate Avril Lavigne but I like her new single Girlfriend. I have no idea if that chick from Cyprus looks like her since I avoid looking at Avril. The dude from Iceland does look like Meatloaf though. Thing is, I doubt the real Avril and Meatloaf would have a chance of winning Eurovision. They're not soaked in delicious badness enough.
