I was talking with Carrie on Adium and she asked about the band Say Anything which got me listening to their music again. All of which is very good and very hilarious for the most part. So hilarious I feel compelled to share three of their songs with whoever reads this.

The first song, Alive With The Glory Of Love, is my favorite by far. It has a happy romantic beat but if you listen to the lyrics they're really twisted. The song is basically about two people who fall in love during WWII and talks about how they make love while their city is being invaded and they won't be taken alive by the Nazis. Yeah... it's twisted. But also funny.

Admit It!! is a much more straight out funny song, mocking those who act better than the general populous because they're trendy or whatnot. This song pretty much embodies my general uncomfortable feeling in certain circles of NYC and LA. Which is why I choose to live in the non-trendy Midwest and not there anymore.

Out of all the songs I uploaded I think Chia-Like, I Shall Grow isn't funny at all but I still like it a lot and I wanted to share it. Mostly to prove that they can just do an outright rock song without being cute and clever and amusing. Plus it's dark again and I like dark. lol. Hey, I used to be a goth!
