FF.Net Question

I'm hardly ever on fanfiction.net except when I feel like randomly posting to my account. I have five stories posted there vs the god knows how many pieces of crap on my website so that shows how much I pay attention to things that go on there. Although I do like trolling there for bad fanfic to giggle at.

Despite the deluge of bad fic it's a somewhat decent place to get feedback and so I like to post there on and off. The feedback thing tends to work out well for Harry Potter fic in particular. Anyway!

Point of my post is I heard who knows how long ago that the site doesn't allow graphic sex scenes to be posted. Or if they get wind of it they ban you. I went through their Terms of Service agreement and it didn't say anything of the sort. Or at least nothing that my tiny brain could work out so I'm a bit perplexed.

Does anyone know if sex scenes are against the fanfiction.net TOS or at least ban worthy? I'm just curious because eventually there will be a sex scene in Crazy Little Things and if it's going to be against their rules I'll just post a link to my LJ in the text of the fic. If that's allowed. I'm not sure. Hrm.

It basically depends on if anyone reports it. I have an AMG fic on ffnet rated M, with a mild explicit sex scene. It's a 7-year-old AMG fic, which no one ever reviews, so no one's noticed.

Harry Potter is far more noticeable. But if you rate the fic M, you're allowed an amount of leeway. provided you aren't having them expel fluids all over the place. :)

Hee! Thanks. I was planning on changing the fic rating before I wrote the sex scene as well as putting a little warning text at the top. If it gets me banned then... well, oh well. lol. It's not like I don't have other outlets to post my stuff on.

I swear, there will be no expelling of fluids. Not every girl character in fandom can female ejaculate like the fabulous Dana Fairbanks. And that's canon! lol.
