I don't want to spoil anyone but seriously... the ending? WTF? Suck ass. Just immense horrible. The best thing about that show is the characters and you have to ruin one of them to make an omg! plot twist? Bah.
i just saw the finale and have to wholeheartedly agree. i haven't liked this story arc anyway, but to see it wrapped up so tightly and neatly (and in such an implausible way, to boot) makes me kind of angry. i just don't buy it. counterbalancing some kind of power dynamic infused by fuzzy logic against "family" i.e., everyone in the lab, their comraderie, obvious respect... i just don't see it. and in three months?
bad, just bad. lazy, too. perhaps they thought he was the most expendable cast member. maybe they needed to trim the budget (esp. given the new addition, and frankly, i prefered stephen fry). or maybe, in true conspiracy theory fashion, they were just getting rid of the gay guy.
either way, i feel cheated. i'm not completely down with the direction this show is heading, which is unfortunate. maybe they're just sophomore blues.
