To repeat a tired statement for my friends, I love punk covers. In fact, I have something of a music fetish for them. It's shameful really. Except that it doesn't fill me with shame but whatever.
After going to the Mac store I returned to my parents house, hung out with my brother, then went out with him and my mother for dinner. After we ate I managed to convince them to go to Best Buy so I could indulge in my sudden need to own the Escaflowne tv series on dvd. While there I also picked up Punk Goes Crunk and Punk Goes Acoustic 2.
As a cover song fetishist I found Punk Goes Crunk to be such a great buy for all of the quality rap song covers it's filled with. Here are my favorite tracks on the album in order of excellence top to bottom.

Nothin' But A "G" Thang (Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg Cover) by The Escape Frame
I Wanna Love You (Akon Cover) by The Maine
The Say Anything cover is made of so much awesome I can't even begin to describe it properly. I must see them in concert soon as I'm able.
