I went to Six Flags with my brother today and we rode on many a rollercoaster and water ride. The only coaster we didn't go on was Superman Tower of Power because Patrick said he found the idea of going straight up then down disconcerting and he rather not watch his perpetual death through mechanical falling. lol. So I guess I'll just have to go on that ride some other time with somebody else.
He leaves this Thursday with my parents for Arlington, Virginia where he's going to settle into his studio apartment before he starts up law school at American University in Washington D.C. in two weeks. I'm super big sister proud of him but I will admit I'm going to really miss having him around. It was nice having him being back in St. Louis for these past few months but I have the feeling once he graduates law school he's going to settle permanently in Virginia since he really seems to love that state. At least, he loves it far more than Missouri. Which is understandable. I mean, I love this state but I freely admit other ones majorly kick our ass in a lot of ways.
I want to live in South Dakota for all the awesome tourist traps. lol. But that's another post filled with inanity that I won't go into.
Six Flags was freakishly expensive but I was happy to note that Metro Station is playing there on August 5th so now I have yet another reason to use the expensive ass entry tickets that are good exactly six times to get into the park. Yayyyy for slightly less wasteful use of my money. Maybe I'll swindle the gf into going with me.
