This isn't spoilers since everything has already aired but just in case I'm LJ cutting for those who might not want to read my inane babbles on the latest episodes of House and All My Children because they haven't had a chance to watch yet.
I was actually getting pretty worn out on House and his constant snarky angst this year. There were a few times where I just fast forwarded through his funny insults and I was left wondering why I watch the show. Which, of course, led me back to Olivia Wilde playing 13 aka Dr. Remy Hadley. Even before the many bisexual hints and then confirmations I liked her much better than Cameron and the whole Huntingtons storyline just gave her that extra umph of angsty story potential that appeals to the fanfic writer in me.
That being said, it's pretty natural to say I adored the episode that just aired for her tonight. Not only because it had her making out, twice, with two very attractive female characters but because it went into a bit of her psychology and mindset as we find out her Huntingtons is progressing at a more rapid state. The end depressed me a bit because it seemed as if her original one night stand, Spencer was her name I believe Foreman said, and 13 were forming a real romantic connection.
Lame as it sounds I was hoping that if Spencer turned out to have a terminal disease that she would be released and end up with 13 having a sort of lovely and touching but angstified because of eventual death romance. It would be very Love Story but they both die. lol. But she ended up being not terminal and at the end of the episode 13 was in the process of banging a hot blonde. Which is odd because she did tell Foreman that Spencer had nowhere to go so it made me think that maybe she would somehow wind up staying with 13. Honestly, I would've been so happy if the last shot of the episode was 13 making out with Spencer back in her apartment or in the hospital room.
Ah well. Fanfic perhaps? Though if I'm going to write angsty terminal lesbian romance fic I should finish my L Word Dana has cancer story All The White Horses.
Onto All My Children. I love Bianca, I really do. She's my favorite after Kendall and usually Bianca and Kendall can do no wrong by me because they're both such fabulous characters and always bring the entertainment.
But this whole deal with Bianca wanting to have a genetic relation to Miranda and therefore used Zach as a sperm donor without asking Kendall's permission? I'm sorry, bullshit. Who thought it was realistic that a rape victim would want the child from that rape to have another child related to the rapist? I know Zach isn't his brother but that's just fucked up. Plus, hello, sister's husband and no asking permission!
I was also giggling nonstop when Zach delivered Bianca's baby and held it up like she was baby Jeebus complete with the shiny sun in the background. However, I am very much encouraged by how Zach keeps piling on the praise for Reese. It's nice she'll be coming into town with someone other than Binks and Miranda liking her.
What sucks is Kendall being stuck in a coma so Alicia Minshew can have a much needed four month break. It seems like Bianca is going to keep new Gabrielle's baby daddy origins a secret that Greenlee of all people finds out about first. The storyline about the baby daddy won't be resolved until Kendall knows and flips a gasket which won't happen until she wakes up and four month coma so... ugh.
I love that Bianca is back and she has a hot girlfriend who is all wanting to commit but why did they have to ruin Kinks? Ah well, anytime I get depressed I look at the pix of Reese being fierce in her boots as she proposes to Bianca. And no, I don't know why Miranda is dressed up in a Fifi dog collar. That's even more disturbing.
