I got bored and started watching random clips of The Muppet Show on YouTube. Such a bad thing to do because I start wanting to share all of the childhood funny with whoever reads my dinky ramblings. But whatever. Here we are and here is me sharing.

I love it when Beaker sings. Maybe because he clearly can't do it at all.

This one was my absolute favorite as a kid. I love how the audience starts revolting on poor Beaker as he sings Feelings.

I think other than Beaker I always found The Swedish Chef consistently funny. This is one of his best skits where lobster bandidos hold him up at gunpoint. lol. I don't think Miss Piggy ever got her meal.

Best Crossover ever! The first video is of The Swedish Chef seeing Big Bird for the first time and the second is when he tries to cook Big Bird for Christmas dinner. lol. So wrong but so very funny.

Pigs In Space and Star Wars! Awesome.

Statler and Waldorf vs. Milton Berle. Hee!

Sam the Eagle is my favorite conservative. I love him with Spike Milligan here.

Animal and Rita Moreno, how can it get any better?

And just for the hell of it, here's Miss Piggy on The View. I think I'd actually watch the show if she was a regular.

I'm going to go watch my Muppet Show dvds now. Honestly, do kids have anything as good as this on the air these days? If they do I'm totally not aware of it. I mean, there's Pixar for movies but I dunno about tv.

For children's TV, you can always look at shows like, say, Spongebob, or even Chowder. Both have... 'childish' themes with adult jokes that fly way over kid's heads... they entertain both children and adults. Hell, Chowder even has puppet segments.
