Watch This! Reese's Tie

Whoever is dressing Tamara Braun is making dyketastic selections in her clothing. The most recent being her fabulous tie. I refuse to believe it's the same person who is dressing Eden Riegel who keeps ending up in the weirdest outfits lately. Not fond of the ruffly frilly shirts on Binks. It's like she's getting the same treatment as Maggie with wardrobe lately.



I don't have much to say. Erica is the reason I've watched All My Children for 20+ years so of course I loved watching her tangle with Reese. They had a really interesting dynamic in their back and forth and if Reese and Bianca were to stick around I would love to see how Reese deals with further Erica issues. Reese didn't back down and Erica respects that but still, you don't mess with her kids. She'll pounce on you no matter how minor the issue is. And I think, strangely, Erica recognizes that quality in Reese which is why she says, "You have a daughter now. Someday you'll understand." That was a great line and very telling I think.

I'm not someone who blames Bianca for the baby sperm donor daddy situation. I think it's shite writing and completely OOC considering how close Kendall and Bianca are and how fucking epic Kinks love for each other is. That being said, the Kendall fan in me did twitch a bit when she asked Reese and Zach how could they keep Kendall's imminent death a secret from her. I couldn't help but think, well, how could you not tell your sister you asked her husband to provide sperm to create your new kid? I love Bianca but she gets a touch of the hypocrite at times.

All the same, that scene where Bianca finds out and breaks down in pretty tears about Kendall dying? Ouch. Kinks! When Kendall wakes up I want them somehow to work out the whole sperm donor situation and remain as close as ever. I'm hoping that the spoilers about her waking up being changed mean that when Kendall comes out of her coma she's weirdly mellow and doesn't lose her shit when she finds out about Gabrielle. Which would be a huge change. lol.

Blerh. This whole storyline with Gabrielle is so OOC for Bianca that I have no idea how I'm going to explain it away in fanfic. Watch the clips from top to bottom.

I've had a consistent cold that I can't get rid of and it sucks ass. Especially with the interview tomorrow. I'm going to try and write some more of the new chapter of my AMC fanfic but I'm feeling wonky on the meds.

The second she steps into the scene with that tie all I could think was wardrobe malfunction! but for some reason she still looks hot, lol. I read the spoilers and I absolutely hate that they are changing Kendall, her wacky-ass is one of the only reasons I still watch AMC.

I'm really digging Reese's dyketastic clothing and body language. Someone's taking this lesbian plot seriously and has been doing some research :D.

Re: sperm donor situation, the craziest part of it is, this wasn't a good idea for anyone, most of all Bianca and esp. Reese. Known donor means potential parental rights issues and all sorts of other messy issues.

That said, the more I think about it, the more it actually doesn't seem like that big a deal. Why should Kendall mind?
And then there's the Bianca factor. When I first tried to figure out what Binks could possibly have been thinking (dude, it's the 21st century, what about ordering from an online sperm bank?), I watched the clips where we find out about this. Binks looks so adorable when she feels guilty, she could pretty much get away with anything as far as I can tell, especially in this clip where she gets grilled by Erica on who's Gabrielle father:

I can understand not wanting an anonymous donor because it's a soap and they want to relate their kids to people on the show and Zach is a popular character. Though not having an anonymous donor keeps the baby from having the omg!popular guy character #102 is my dad reveal in the future. lol. Wanting to know the donor is easily written away with explanations that Bianca wants to be able to tell her daughter, when she's older, who her father is rather than it just being some random guy who donated his swimmers.

It's a big deal because Bianca didn't ask first, imho. And that's what is so OOC. Bianca should have never been scared Kendall would say no. Kendall almost went to death row to protect Bianca from taking the rap on the Michael Cambias murder so I hardly think she would have said no to Zach donating sperm for Bianca to have a kid.

Ultimately, I think Kinks will survive this debacle but it bothers me because they had the best and most honest sibling relationship on the show before this incident and it sucks they kind of made Bianca screw over her sister who has this huge love for her.

I get what you're saying. It's not so much the fact that Zach is the donor, but the fact that there was no communication between the sisters as there should have been. Kendall would naturally have been the first person her sister told about her plans to have another child, let alone using her husband as the donor. Since they are very close, Kendall wouldn't have said no, so why was Bianca reluctant to tell her? This doesn't make sense. Oh well.
