I started watching a slew of live performances for various musical artists I like tonight just because I got bored and YouTube tends to do that to me. As I did I had another moment where I realized how many gay man tendencies I have for a lesbian. The more I started thinking about it the more the idea of collecting all these various videos I was watching for others to see sadly entertained me.
Sugababes performing I Bet You Look Good On the Dance Floor by Arctic Monkeys live. I love girl bands with a sad passion.
Girls Aloud perform a medley of gayness that includes the themes for Fame, Flashdance, and Footloose. This is quite possibly my favorite video ever. For the moment at least. lol. It's seriously fabulous. Since Sarah is my favorite member of the band I enjoy her singing the Footloose theme the most but it's all fucking great and it's all fucking gay. lol.
I was a super gay kid. Want to know how sadly gay I was? I wanted to be a lumberjack for the plaid shirts, blue jeans, and big boots they got to wear. Also, here are my two favorite movies as a child. According to my mother I used to run around with a cardboard tube from left over wrapping paper pretending it was a sword. So sad and so very gay.
Zorro The Gay Blade! His costumes are made of awesome.
Pirates of Penzance starring Kevin Kline, Angela Lansbury, and Linda Ronstadt. I have this on VHS but it's not out on DVD. This fact does upset me sadly enough.
Musicals are a passion of mine. Here are a few favorites.
This is my favorite Julie Andrews musical hands down. I even got to see her perform it on Broadway. Sweet.
This musical made me love Christians. lol. It's lame but true.
Carol Burnette is the best drunken singer ever.
The best diva is an old school diva. Although technically I'd only call Diana a diva out of these three. Tina is without a doubt The Best but she's too down to earth to be a diva if you ask me. But I love her so.
For some reason I get this song randomly stuck in my head. I drove
oneiric22 nuts at the last convention we went to because I kept singing it at random intervals. I dunno why but it just appears and I have to sing it.
Bette makes ukulele's cool. I dunno how but she does.
I've been looking for Tina's performance of this at the VH1 Fashion Awards because I still remember it for its bad ass quality but I cannot find it anywhere. I saw her perform this live twice in concert and it always rocks.
All shall love Eurovision and despair. This is just an assortment of foreign pop that I love.
Kateeeee! Why didn't you make it past the Eurovision semifinals in 2006?! It's a fucking travesty. This video makes my crush on you become that much larger which is sort of sad but you look so pimp as a pilot.
I love how Ani keeps men trapped behind glass boxes.
The Michael Jackson tribute in the dance made me love them. If only they had done that in the live performance.
Super Junior has 13 members now? I can't remember. They keep adding and subtracting. The awesome kid on the violin is Henry and he's a Canadian musical prodigy who had no idea the insane life that awaited him by joining a hugely popular Korean boy band.
Mylene is awesome live and I must see her one day. Honestly, this has to be one of the most happy and carefree performances I've ever seen. I really want to see her perform in person, she has to be brilliant.
Probably one of my best all time concerts was seeing Kylie Minogue. I'm glad she's doing better health wise.
Barbara Stanwyck is my classic hollywood dyke crush. Loooove her.
