But her make up smears horribly. Today's episode made my TNT shipper heart go pitter patter. It was excellent.
Todd seems to have finally figured out the only woman he wants is Tea but her mysterious and world ending secret is looming over them and Blair is off on a plane to Tahiti to get Ross Rayburn to tell her what the hell it is. With all this build up it better be something really good people. Whatever the secret is it somehow involves Todd as Tea is scared as hell about him finding out and says she never would've done whatever she did if she thought she'd fall back in love with him. Which just adds to the overall intrigue because, honestly, after Todd stranded her on that island and ran back to Blair I can see why Tea would've gotten bitter and done something to fuck him over.
Kind of understandable, imho.
Florencia Lozano was fantastic in today's episode. My favorite thing about her is how she plays Tea so fucking methodical and hard and do whatever it takes to win in court but once Tea is in her personal life she's heartbreakingly vulnerable and sweet. I love the dichotomy in Tea's personality and it's why she's my favorite female lead on the show. Florencia plays up Tea's need for love in such a really endearing way that it honestly tugs at my romantic sap side, especially when she cries, because golly gee whiz gosh darnit, she deserves to be happy!
That was my 1950's dork coming out I suspect. Anyway. Here are all the Todd and Tea clips from today's episode which feature Tea crying prettily and Todd finally confessing he's in love with Tea as she makes a half-hearted attempt to flee town in order to avoid facing Todd when her horrible and still unknown secret is revealed.
What's strangest about this whole storyline is I still love Blair although I wish she'd stop calling Tea a bitch all the time. Tea isn't anymore bitchy with Blair than Blair is to her. I still think Blair wants to have hate sex with Tea.
