It's little over a month until the fabulousness that is Eurovision airs and I can't wait to witness the quality live.

The Semi-Finals will be taking place on May 20th and May 22nd this year with the Finale airing on May 24th. For those who are sad like me and live in the United States which is ignorant of Eurovision's fabulousity you can watch it streaming live through a site called Octoshape.

Here are a slew of videos for the various artists that will be going to the Semi-Finals. Decide for yourself if they have what it takes to win the wacky Eurovision crown. Remember, they must be quality! lol. That is the most important factor above all else with Eurovision. That and to never be boring. For the love of Jeebus, never be boring.

Iceland; Euroband - This Is My Life:

Iceland, you disappoint me. This is fucking commerical. But still, it's pop music and pop music and Eurovision go together like Halloween and candy.

Turkey; Mor ve Ötesi - Deli:

Holy shit. Turkey is sending a decent rock band. Go Turkey! It doesn't have the Eurovision quality campy factor but I think it's genuinely good music. Plus his singing voice is sort of mesmerizing in its even tone.

Ukraine; Ani Lorak - Shady Lady:

Looks like Ukraine is going back to hot professonial pop for their entry. She's sort of reminiscent of Tina Karol and she took seventh place when she competed for Ukraine. Personally, I think Ani is painfully hot and fun to watch and the song is quite catchy. Plus I have much love for Ukraine thanks to Ruslana so I hope she does better than seventh.

Lithuania; Jeronimas Milius - Nomads In The Night:

This sucks so hard I had to link it. Lithuania never brings anything good.

Albania; Olta Boka - Zemrën E Lamë Peng:

Very pretty ballad. I hope she brings the drama for the Sem-Finals.

Czech Republic; Tereza Kerndlová - Have Some Fun:

It's not quality pop but it's close. Her smile is a bit creepy though. But the beginning with her roller skating did make me giggle.

Belarus; Ruslan Alenho - Hasta La Vista:

This is such quality. He's quoting Arnold in Terminator! Hee! I bet you anything he dresses sparkly in the Semi-Finals.

Latvia; Pirates Of The Sea - Wolves Of The Sea:

Latvia, why do you do this to me? You have consistently sucked before this. Even when you hosted Eurovision you sucked. The only thing that made that show tolerable was Sertab's fabulous performance and Terry Wogan's great mockery of how much your hosting of the show sucked. Then you bring me a pirate themed band with a pure quality song?

::Sigh::

I love this! They must make it to the finals and get high ranked. lol. I'm sure Terry will freak out at the idea of going back to crappy Latvia again.

Croatia; Kraljevi Ulice & 75 Cents - Romanca:

Is the old guy 75 Cents? I thought he was a Croatian rapper trying to out shine 50 Cent but it doesn't appear so. This is weird and sucky.

Malta; Morena - Vodka:

Well done, Malta. You've got a song named after booze. I congratulate you and I find your song strangely mesmerizing. Plus your singer is hot.

Cyprus; Evdokia Kadi - Femme Fatale:

I didn't expect a song with the title Femme Fatale to be sort of boring but there you go. I do like the coordinated male underlings. They made me giggle. But other than that? Nyeh. Not bad but not outstanding.

F.Y.R. Macedonia; Tamara, Vrčak & Adrijan - Let Me Love You:

Former Yugolslav Republic of Macedonia! I love you! You've brought the first good and cheesy catchy pop band. It's like a boy band but with a bastardized twist because you've stuck a girl in there. I can't wait to see you live at the Finals. Do well in the Semi-Finals, guys.

Portugal; Vânia Fernandes - Senhora Do Mar (Negras Águas):

Oh no, no, no, no! Portugal! Have you not learned from previous Eurovision fiascos? You've sent a genuinely good and talented singer to this camp fest of quality. She will not fare well! It makes me sad because this is a great performance. Oh well. Here's hoping she survives.

Montenegro; Stefan Filipović - Zauvijek Volim Te:

I'm not sure why this guy makes me laugh but he does. Maybe it's the thumbs up? He's trying so hard to be cool and it's failing. Plus his little uncomfortable dance is just too cute. Overall not a bad song.

Estonia; Kreisiraadio - Leto Svet:

Finally something funny other than the pirate band/song! Thank you Estonia. I doubt you'll get far but I thank you anyway for the effort.

San Marino; Miodio - Complice:

This is the first year San Marino is competing so no matter what anyone thinks of the song or the performance it will probably get to the Finals. But despite that I like it quite a bit. It's really slow at first but as it builds up it gets so much better. I just hope he gives a good show live.

Belgium; Ishtar - O Julissi:

Dude. I'm not sure if this rocks or not. It's strange though and it's truly Eurovision quality, that's for certain.

Azerbaijan; Elnur & Samir - Day After Day:

Omgwtfbbq!! These guys are my new favorites. This is truly a quality strange ass performance and once again, Azerbaijan is a brand new country to Eurovision and this is their first entry ever. I think they'll do quite well with this one. It's too much quality not to do well in Eurovision. That guy in the angel wings sort of looks like Spike from Buffy. Which makes me giggle thinking about bad Photoshop manips I've seen of him that involved angel wings. Hee. Horrible stuff.

Norway; Maria - Hold On Be Strong:

Hot pop diva song. It should do well.

Ireland; Dustin the Turkey - Irelande Douze Pointe:

You know, ever since I started watching Eurovision I've baffled at how Ireland has won the most competitions because I thought all their entries were boring as fuck. They're proving me wrong with this entry. It's not going to get anywhere close to winning but at least it's weird as fuck and it's quality and it makes me giggle. Which is all I require of my Eurovision contestants. Much better than some dude playing a lute, Ireland.

In another note, I think Ireland is going insane like the UK when it comes to Eurovision. They've giving up on winning and just sending the camp. But at least their camp is amusing while UK's camp just sucks.

Bosnia & Herzegovina; Laka - Pokušaj:

Bosnia & Herzegovina never fails to entertain me. I wonder if they'll bring the rooster with them to Belgrade? Heh. Seriously though. This is a really nice and mellow song but it keeps your attention with all the weird ass costumes and the vocal inflections. Nice job.

Armenia; Sirusho - Qele, Qele:

Still a pretty new country to the competition, this was a good entry from Armania. It should place pretty high. I just hope for better costumes in the Semi-Finals. Something is lacking here visually.

The Netherlands; Hind - Your Heart Belongs To Me:

I like the The Netherlands just for Paul de Leeuw's wacky commentary everytime they go to him for their votes. I wish they'd win for once so he could host the show. It would be fucking hilarious if he did.

Finland; Teräsbetoni - Missä Miehet Ratsastaa:

It's all about the metal in Finland. But this one lacks the cheesy fun quality of Lordi. I'm not sure how far it will get but I still enjoyed it.

Russia; Dima Bilan - Believe:

Didn't this douche compete before and lose? I think he had a mullet back then... or maybe there are two pop singers named Dima in Russia? If it is the same guy I hope he once again doesn't win.

Greece; Kalomira - Secret Combination:

Bwahahaha! Oh, this is quality! I love it when the male dancers hoist the female singers up like they're queens to worship. It so makes me giggle and it's such a fucking tradition in Eurovision. Plus the song title! Secret combination to what? Her chastity belt? Ehhh... thanks Greece, this is great. Very much quality for me to enjoy here.

UK; Andy Abraham - Even If:

They're sending a soul singer? Or a disco singer? I'm not sure. He's actually pretty good though. I'm shocked, UK, shocked I say!

Spain; Rodolfo Chikilicuatre - Baila El Chiki Chiki:

Spain has clearly gone insane and it rules. This is hilarious.

Serbia; Jelena Tomašević feat. Bora Dugic - Oro:

The winning country comes back with more dramatic singing goodness. But this doesn't have a lesbian harem in tuxedos. Much disappointment.

Germany; No Angels - Disappear:

Each year Germany rules because they send something from a different genre of music and it's usually awesome. This year they've decided to send a girl group. An okay girl group but it's not the sheer level of awesome I've come to expect from Germany. Maybe they'll give a more powerful performance at the Finals.

France; Sébastien Tellier - Divine:

France! What the hell is going on this year. Both UK and France, countries which are usually crappy and boring as hell are sending some genuinely amusing and fun to listen to songs while Germany has disappointed me with normal pop music and the same goes for my normally beloved Iceland.

Well, that's the end of my massively long Eurovision preview. I must say that my favorite is probably a tie between Latvia and Azerbaijan just because of their sheer quality. Though I do think that Turkey is sending a genuinely kick ass song that deserves to win. And UK and France have surprised me massively by sending things I actually like for once. It will be a hard decision. But one made easier for me since I can't vote. Blerh. I wish we'd finally compete in Eurovision. I'd giggle as our lame American Idols get their asses kicked on the world stage.

Except for Kelly for Kelly rules all and she would win for she is the only thing good to come out of the cesspool of lameness that is American Idol.
