I've already posted about my love of the movie Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah after going to Otakon and seeing it there last year. As soon as I got home I promptly bought it on dvd and now I've uploaded three of my favorite musical numbers from the movie onto YouTube to share with the world because this movie rules THAT MUCH. Everyone must see how much it rules! lol. Seriously though. Do see this movie if you have a sense of humor and love gay and/or campy things.
If you didn't click on my link above here's a quick synopses about Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah's storyline: Ada is MTF transgendered who is a hairdresser. Didi is as well and is her spunky sidekick. Ada is grumpy and hilarious and in love with the hunky Dodong but denying it because of past horrible experiences. A pink rock falls from the sky and Ada swallows it and is able to turn into the female superhero Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah and she fights many battles including ones against a giant frog and zombies. The utterly awesome Queen Femina Suarstellar Baroux sees a woman with powers similar to her own and gets curious about Zsa Zsa and arrives from space with her Amazonistas wanting Zsa Zsa to join her in her goal to eradicate all males from the universe.
Oh yeah, and it's a musical. This movie, people, it is genius. Anyway! Onto the clips.
This number is strangely sad but hilarious to me. Zsa Zsa is fighting a hoard of zombies that have invaded her town and one of the zombies turns out to be her father who despite being a member of the undead and wanting to feast on brains still can't accept the fact that she's MTF transgendered. What an asshole zombie father!
Queen Femina arrives on the scene and introduces herself with a special production number. I love how she says her name. It just makes it sound so fucking fabulous. lol. Seriously. She's my favorite thing in this movie. Besides Ada/Dodong romance.
And we find out why Queen Femina is so determined to get rid of all the men. Turns out Planet X has a shitty history with women and the men who live there were all abusive assholes to the nth degree.
