Bubblegum Crisis Movie

How did I not know they're making a live action Bubblegum Crisis movie? There's not a lot of info about it on the internet thus far but that movie poster makes me squee in anticipation.

Of course, the major casting decision relies on who plays Priss and how well she can perform Konya Wa Hurricane. For the actress' sake it better be damn good for it remains a classic anime moment. One I just had to share in YouTube embedding form.

Oh, come on, you know I had to do it! It's fabulous Priss and the blonde wig! lol. It's so 80s.

I had no idea about the live action movie... Thanks for the info. Bubblegum Crisis was one of the anime series that drew me back to anime after a short break... I will definitely keep an eye open for it.

(It is traditional in our anime-nerding circles to rate the awfulness of anime ending themes in milliDandies. Most shows only rate a few tens of mD, because insipidity is distinct from sheer ear-grinding horror. Serial Experiments Lain is the only series ever to top 1000mD.)

I live in fear of the live-action remake.
