Or something like that. lol. I had a nice bartending gig tonight at Dave and Buster's out in Earth City. It's a tad far from where I live but I enjoy working there when I get the chance. They had their Dance Dance Revolution contest again and the same hot Japanese chick won it. Michi Onagata is her name and she's way cute and super shy. I've "known" her for awhile now because of the DDR contests but today was the first time she started up a conversation with me herself. Anyway, she chose to take the credit instead of cash much to the anger of the crowd... again. Who knows why they hate her doing that so much. I say let her pick her damn prize in peace, she won fair and square.
So the bartending was a good time. I got Michi's phone number and a pretty firm confirmation she swings in my direction. I know I said I wouldn't date for awhile but ehhhh.... maybe I should be more specific. I won't be dating seriously for awhile. It's no big to me to go back to speed dating, where I just meet people and go out for a nice night but nothing serious comes from it. That's just groovy by me and that's what I plan on doing.
I found a slew of crap at Laura and Tracy's house. I guess I never did retrieve some junk there, among all of it were several of my Eurovision cds. My god! I'm so happy to have them back. Eurovision is this contest they have among all these international bands and they make a cd of the top contenders. It's full of wonderfully bad pop music from all these strange countries. My cd from the Istanbul contest has a band from Estonia of all places on it. Hee! I'm almost giddy to have these back in my hands.
I also bought some t-shirts at Gordmans, they have great cheap shirts with tons of random stuff on them. I wore the one I just bought to Dave and Busters tonight. I wasn't disappointed when Michi read my shirt then tried to say all exaggerated suave and charming, "The breakfast of champions." I totally blanked out when she said this though and she had to explain to me that's the line used in Wheaties commercials. Blerh. Brain fart moment totally but she was so cute when doing that.
