Sorry, god. I just got back from having a late dinner with Michi at this nice sushi place in the city and we ran into my friend Susie who I don't see nearly enough. She's just a really wacky girl that I love to bits. Anyway, I got my hair cut really fucking short because that's how I like to have my hair. When I was with Suzanna I grew it out because of her needling about it. She thought it was too butch lesbian or something. But since we're "done" I went back to my old haircut.
Susie sees me and as she runs to hug me she calls out, fairly loudly, and uber perky as is her way, "Oh my god Nic! Super dykey haircut! Powers activate!"
If I didn't already love Susie that statement alone would make me. lol. Michi was fairly confused about the powers activate part of the compliment. I then had to attempt to explain the Wondertwins to Michi and she was baffled as can be about them. Hard not to be. They are incredibly lame.
Yesterday I went over to Michi's house with Wonderfalls complete series dvd and we watched all of Disc One and part of Disc Two. We got to see my favorite episode, Crime Dog, which is just hilarious with the X-Files parody moments and pure insanity of Jaye's family. God... Wonderfalls kicks so much ass. Why did they cancel it? Makes me want to sniffle. I took Vlad over to her apt with me and he had a play date with her prissy Shitzu Missy who I swear, rolled her eyes in disgust at him. Hee! Nah, it was okay. They had a lot of fun I think. Once Missy got used to how damn hyper Vlad is. It was a good time all in all and I think I'll be hanging out with Michi more often these days. Which is nice, I like having new friends and/or dates.
She's really interesting though. At least to me, that is. Michi's a graduate student at Washington University for Economics and is originally from San Francisco. Her parents immigrated from Japan about two years before she was born and she goes back home with them sometimes to visit her family there. She's even been in some Dance Dance Revolution contests in Tokyo! lol. She has trophies and everything. Fucking cool.
That's about it. Oh yeah, because Pip neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeds money (this is how she says it I swear to god) I'll probably be moving in with her and Stacey fairly soon. Which is good because I dislike living with my parents and it's in a nice area right by the Tivoli. Spiffy and such. And Pat, I revel in getting you addicted to The L Word and Dana. Now if only I can convert you fully to the power of Danish my work would be complete.
