Best of Reiko Ike and The Pinky Violence Collection

A week or so ago I was raving to Pat about this totally awesome dvd set of some of the greatest Japanese girl gang movies of all time released by Panik House under the utterly hilarious name of The Pinky Violence Collection. At the time I had no idea that my awesome friend Jake in NYC had actually bought me the dvd as a late and brilliantly inspired Christmas present and it was delayed by some crappy UPS errors. I adore bad movies and I adore bad naughty type films. Stuff like Caged Heat or Petticoat Planet or any of the great Russ Meyer classics like Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! That being so I LOVE this collection. It fucking kicks ass. Here's the link to the official site for it:

One of the coolest things about this collection is the fact that it comes with a cd that has fifteen songs performed by Reiko Ike who is the star of many of the fine films in the box set. I decided to upload the first track which amuses me so much and generally gives you an idea of what exactly these movies are all about. As a sort of duh warning I'll tell you now that the song is in Japanese and has a lot of erotic type moaning and other such sounds. Which really does amuse me way too much. Sometimes I think I'm like a sixteen year old straight boy trapped inside a twenty seven year old dyke body. Hee. Whatever though. Enjoy!

Watch This! Goodbye Misty Mundae, Hello Erin Brown

I know it's the big premiere night for The L Word but I just found out something that's just as cool to me through watching Showtime way ahead of time at my roommates and mine big weekly L Word party we have for all the new episodes. And that's the fact that Misty Mundae will be starring in an episode of the super great Masters of Horror miniseries on Showtime. Her movie/episode is called Sick Girl and is directed by Lucky McKee who is responsible for the totally awesome movie The Woods. Misty's going by her real name of Erin Brown and will be doing all of her movies under her actual name from now on. She recently was forced by "legal bullshit", her own words, to sell her pseudonym of Misty Mundae to E.I. Entertainment. I think I'll have to change my pix of her on my website index page to say Erin Brown because of that. But she'll always be Misty to me! Ahh, no matter what name she goes by I love her. She's the best and most hilarious person in the porn and horror industry and she's fucking super talented. Anyway, if you're curious about her episode on Masters of Horror here's the info about it that includes the time it's being aired. And now that I'm done being a fucking nerd I'll return to the party and my shy gf, who is actually doing really well and is quite happily watching Dina Meyer being incredibly hot in Saw. Ahh, Dina. I love you almost as much as Erin Brown. Your voice is certainly sexier and you are the fucking best Barbara Gordon and Batgirl of all time. Oh yeah, I just had to edit to add anyone who has not seen Saw needs to because it is quite possibly one of the greatest horror movies of all time. And if you freak about seeing actual blood and gore despite the reputation this movie has you don't actually SEE the gore. You just see allusions to it. Trust me. This film is fantastic. Dina has a bigger part in the sequel though.
