Maybe it's just my insane insomnia but I find myself cracking up every other minute at the latest great manga I've found on Manga Traders. It's called Angel Densetsu and is about a boy named Seiichiro Kitano who has the face of a demon, no exaggeration, but is a super nice and really sweet guy. But because of said face he's thought to be a punk, a heroin addict, and any other awful number of things.
Upon transferring to a new school in a series of odd circumstances he becomes the school's Guardian or number one tough punk on campus without technically fighting anyone. The series just gets funnier from there as person after person misunderstand poor Kitano. Eventually he gets involved with a girl named Kyoko who practices martial arts, and kicks much ass, and she's the one person who understands he's a just nice guy with a scary face and they begin to form a romance of sorts.
I'm only onto Volume Six of the manga but like I said, I'm giggling like crazy and I'm loving it so much. I totally recommend reading it! You can check it out HERE.
Oh! Those who are fans of Claymore, the series is done by the same mangaka, Norihiro Yagi. I haven't read Claymore yet, despite a few recommendations from my friends but I'll definitely be reading it now. I know it's an entirely different concept from Angel Densetsu but in my experience good writing is the most important thing in a series, not the art nor the concept or genre behind the series itself. Hence I shall be reading Claymore since Norihiro Yagi writes one good story.
It's also snowed a nice amount here in St Louis and I'm so loving that I don't have to forcibly drive in it. lol. Not that I mind driving in the snow. I just mind other stupid drivers. That's what I say about bad weather, it's not driving in the bad weather that's the problem, it's driving with other people on the roads. lol. The weather doesn't cause accidents, it's the stupid drivers on the road.
Anyway, the snow was so high that Vlad has had to jump run through it when he goes outside. It's so cute.
