It surprises me the stuff I don't know about. Particularly about music and weirder bands and performers. Oh well, at least it means I can get super excited when I do find out about it. Anyway, AKB48 is a Japanese girl group that consists of three teams, Team A, Team K, and Team B and has forty six members altogether. I've been busy downloading a buttload of their songs HERE which are incredibly enjoyable overall. But mostly what gets me is watching the music videos. It's sort of overwhelming but in a good way. Overwhelming as in I have no idea how to keep track of who is who but it's still a cool performance. I bet they're a ton of fun to see live in their Akihabara theater.
Here's a music video so you can see what I'm babbling about.
And to think, I once found Super Junior's band size impressive. Pfff! What a fool I was. Forty six members totally trumps thirteen. Or is it fifteen now with them? I dunno. I just know I love Henry and his violin playing moonwalk. It's fabulous.
Since I do love Henry here he is performing the song U with Super Junior M.
