Retail Radio

I got bored today at work, as I often do, and I turned on the local morning radio zoo. Sometimes mildly amusing, usually annoying, I was hoping for the former but it wasn't to be. They have this fucking old as hell bit, which they are currently asking people if they want to have resurrected, where they call up random retail stores as an old man and bother the fuck out of them with harassing remarks about customer service and blah blah blah.

This shit pisses me off. Even before I worked retail I was irritated by this sort of thing but now that I'm back in this line of work I have to wonder what is so fucking funny about bothering someone at work and wasting their time. How is this humorous?

It's the same issue of warped mentality when it comes to customers and their worship of liking to claim to have the magical ability to get retail employees fired when they don't get what they want.

One day, if I'm rich, I would love to wander into offices and target these asshole customers and claim the same thing to them for not properly filing their douchebag forms. I'm going to get you fired because I didn't like how you transferred meeeeee! I wonder how they would like that? Not very much I'd think.

Bah. Why must you get someone fired to be appeased? Are you that much of a wanker? I guess so.
