iPod shuffle kicks ass because it always shuffles onto songs I haven't heard in awhile and I forget how much they kick ass. Like with the Alanis song I link below and with the song I'm about to link. When I was a kid, ha, I totally loved Kids Incorporated TV show on Disney Channel. I dunno how many people remember it but it starred Martika of Toy Soldiers fame and it was about this sort of club where all these preteen kids played music and had sort of Saved By The Bell type drama.

It was cheesy but I adored it and I loved the music. Including the theme song, which The Bloodhound Gang did a cover of for their Use Your Fingers album.

If you don't remember the series itself and are curious here's the info page on it ala Wikipedia:

Hee. It's so sad how amused I am by this song. Ahhh. Now you know what would really kick ass? If I could find a great punk cover for the Saved By The Bell or Facts of Life theme song.

I remember that show. My sister used to watch it, and it came on in a timeslot for a show I liked for a while (which I don't remember) so we competed fiercely for a while about it. The memory is tainted forever with annoyance. ;)

But Pern! Martika was on it! "Step by step, heart to heart, left right left. We all fall down like toy soldiers." You can't tell me that doesn't make you want to tear up. Hee.
