If you love All My Children like I do, please contact ABC and ask them to not cancel the show because there are apparently rumors they plan on doing just that. I hope that doesn't happen because this is my favorite soap opera and I've watched it since I was a child and they finally seem to be getting some of their shit together in terms of Bianca romance.

Scenes with Bianca/Marissa are at 0:34 and 4:38 then Erica and Kendall talking about Bianca and her divorce at 9:33 which is fabulous in the Kane ferocity.

Bianca/Marissa again at 0:52 and then they seperate to go prop up Erica and Caleb romance.

Snowball fight and hand touching. I swear to god, it's like high school romance stuff but I don't care, it's so cute I love it anyway. Despite being severely bummed out about even the possibility of AMC getting cancelled I can't help but be so happy about this episode and Bianca/Marissa's natural relationship development.

Here's why I'm fangirling about Bianca/Marissa: In all of Bianca's romances we never got the complete story. With Bianca/Frankie, Bianca/Lena, Bianca/Maggie we saw Bianca fall in love with all of them. We saw the development of their romance and their feelings for each other but once they confessed their feelings something always happened. Character death, rape storyline, and finally a plane trip to France. Either way, we never got to see them act like a romantic couple on screen. It never happened. Then there's Bianca/Reese and we have none of them falling in love but we get them as a romantic obviously in love couple on screen. They're treated, I think, like any other soap couple on the show and are very physically demonstrative.

If Bianca/Marissa does happen and the show does it right it will be the first time we see a complete romantic storyline for Bianca. We will get to see her fall in love and be with someone as a legitimate couple on screen. But that's only if the show is good and allows the same physicality they had with the Reese storyline. Plus it's a romance with a character already established on the show landscape who has ties to other major characters and her own problems/history which would add to the storylines for Bianca.

So there you go. That's why I love the idea of them so much. Besides their uncontrollable cuteness and the fact Kendall would so be on board with Marissa as Bianca's girlfriend.

I will say this, I really don't think Marissa knows Bianca's history. Just the way she was unable to get past how calm Bianca was about the divorce. It'll be interesting when/if she does find out and gets to know Bianca better because Bianca always goes quiet when things get bad. She internalizes a lot of her shit and it fucks with her head sometimes but I dunno, that's just who Bianca is and she can handle a whole storm of horrible most can't.

Okay, today Bianca was totally looking at Marissa's lips as she held her hand - made me smile!!! Also, when Bianca mentioned that she had her own issues with JR, Marissa looked confused - so it appears you are right - Marissa doesn't know Bianca's history.

I think it would be interesting for Marissa to get a crash course in Bianca's mannerisms. She's already doing a great job getting to know her and being the supportive friend, but she still has a way to go to grasp all the eccentricities of who Bianca is and why she acts/reacts the ways she does.

Part of me wishes that Reese (probably recast) would show up and act out how horribly they've twisted her character if for nothing else than to demonstrate to Marissa what Bianca has dealt with and/or how she handles the various issues in her life head-on. She's getting a decent example of that with Reese being in Paris, but I think a more present representation would be even better.

I had not heard about the possibility of cancellation, and I'm surprised with how saddening that is for me. I hope that the fans are able to convince the execs/whoever's in charge of these decisions otherwise, but seeing how well that worked out for the people who didn't want Guiding Light to end I'm not very confident. (at the same time I think that based on my next to nothing exposure to GL that AMC is far superior and should remain on the air for much, much longer).

Thanks again for posting these clips :)
