I'm sitting in the middle of boring boring boring accounting class at Sanford Brown and I wonder why I'm here since none of the classes here will possibly transfer to UMSL for my BA in Creative Writing because this is a vocational school. But then I figure, hell, maybe I can use this Associates degree to get an office job or something while I go to UMSL. But still... accounting. Blerh.

I'm caught between two aspects of lethargy in regards to finishing up school here but again, I might as well. It's yet another thing to be uselessly educated on. lol. Anyway, I'm sure to be super bored while in this class and my math class on Friday. If you want to be nice and help me be unbored, that's so not a word, then get on Yahoo Messenger 6-10 pm central time on Wednesday and Friday.

Yeah, I should concentrate on learning but I never do. Especially not here.

Hey Nic,

In December 2005, the New York Times reported that Showtime’s lesbian drama, The L Word, was set to team up with website Fanlib.com to produce a 12-week contest in which viewers could “contribute ideas for show scenes as part of a continuing story line.” At the conclusion of the contest, which will be overseen by a staff writer, the winning scenes will be compiled into a commemorative ezine of the episode, with Showtime having the option to produce the finished script for TV down the road.

Try this?

I actually heard about this somewhere before and I applied to be email notified once the contest gets started but I can no longer find that site, unfortunately, and I'm unsure if I gave them my now defunct dreiser3 yahoo address. I'm sure I'll hear about it when it officially starts on l-word.com or MediaBlvd or through nice folks like you on my LJ. No worries, dude. I'm totally entering this shit. I doubt my abilities to win it or get recognized but I'm all over entering this. Especially considering how I'm not exactly fond of how S3 is turning out story wise.

But you know, this really is the fucking coolest contest ever. I have to give IC major props. It kicks ass.
