Mary Sues: A Hilarious Cartoon Example

Since my last post mentioned an archive for bad fanfic I thought I would share two links involving one of the biggest horrors in bad fanfic: The Mary Sue. If you don't know what a Mary Sue is check out this excellent explanation from the Encyclopedia Dramatica.

After reading the article you should check out this hilarious cartoon which shows in a perfect visual way the behavior and characteristics of the dreaded Mary Sue. The cartoon focuses around Harry Potter fandom which is so fucking besieged with god awful Mary Sue characters that it's almost painful. The art isn't the best but the joke behind the comic is fucking funny as hell. What cracks me up the most is the name of House which is filled exclusively with Mary Sue characters.

Today I was talking with one of my closest male friends, Jeff, about his fucking selfish excuse of a girlfriend. This time it involved her saying that he was taking far too fucking long in fixing her broken down car. In order to cheer him up from her latest moment of asshat behavior I uploaded one of the ultimate songs for a stomped upon nice boyfriend. You know, the ones who you're not sure how it fucking happened but they end up with near abusive evil high maintenance girls.

And just for the fucking hell of it, here's video proof why the British should never attempt rapping. Actually, almost every country shouldn't attempt rapping. I think overall that genre of music is best left to Americans and the people who created it.
