I honestly worship shopping online and here's the latest reason why.

Back in the yonder days of being a retail slave I worked at Suncoast and encountered a super cheap dvd player called Cyberhome which we were selling for fifty dollars that could be easily hacked (Menu, 1, 9, then Region 0) to make it play all regions of dvds on a NTSC television. Recently I ordered a dvd for Eurovision 2004 Contest which was said to be NTSC but upon arrival proved itself to indeed be PAL as I suspected it might be. I knew it was too good to be true when I bought it and though I was irked I loathed to return it because it was an overseas order and also because I really fucking dorky ass love Eurovision.

Then I magically remembered Cyberhome. I get to fucking google searching and soon enough I find and I buy this...

Ordered on Wednesday night and it arrived today and so far it works fucking perfectly. My last Cyberhome lasted about three years and I'm thinking this one might do the same but what the hell do I care that it doesn't last a lifetime? It's a cheap and functioning dvd player that's region free and will play Eurovision PAL dvds. And when it breaks I'll just buy another. As a result of it working so goddamn well I google searched again and visited this site...

http://www.theeurovisionshop.com/

And bought Eurovision 2003, 2005, and 2006 Contests on dvd. Why? Because, again, I fucking dorky ass love Eurovision AND it has free shipping! FREE SHIPPING! Oh yeah, my Cyberhome was also shipped for free. See why I love shopping online? I can get all my fucking lame and dork filled obsessions almost instantaneously filled. Ahhh... I'm so happy.

Now all I need is for my girlfriend to come home from her freakishly late meeting and my day would be perfect. Blerh. I hate economics sometimes. Curse you economics! I want my woman back! I'll destroy you if you continue to interfere with our lives! lol. Or something.

Since I am thinking of buying a cheap cheap cheap DVD multiregion player myself, I'll check your player out. I am having the problem in reverse, I have a dozen DVDs for Region 1 but players are Region 2 coded over here.
Do you know if you can connect the player to a computer screen? I have a computer screen, but no computer or telly, so I would simply watch my DVDs on my computer screen.

Don't take my word as technical Jeebus but I do believe that the S Video out will allow you to connect the DVD player to your computer. I'd do some research on your own to make sure though. The only complaint I have with this dvd player is the remote is freakishly light and tiny as all fuck. Plus it doesn't use traditional AA or AAA batteries but that's such a tiny ass complaint it barely matters.

And again, I totally stress my last Cyberhome didn't last anywhere close to a lifetime. But I'm totally cool with cheap electronics that sometimes break. At least if I have knowledge that it could possibly happen.

this stuff doesn't have to last that long if I can get one for under 40 € (ebay had used ones for 6 :), but I hate watching my dvds on my tiny ass laptop screen.
thanks for the info!

No problem! I'm still super fucking giddy over my Eurovision dvds. The quality on the one for the 2004 contest is fucking crazy. It's one thing to watch Ruslana doing Wild Dances on your computer but it's a whole different story seeing it on your television. I can't wait to see Lordi and Silvia's performances on dvd now. I'm sure they'll look super fabulous. Plus Sertab in 2003 and Elena in 2005.
