Regaining Faith... for fanfics at least.

Bwah, what did you all think? I was getting religious? No way. lol. That title is just because I've been struck with a sudden strong urge to write a large Faith fanfic. Yes, Faith from Buffy the Vampire Slayer who is my first true love when it comes to fandom imaginary girlfriends. Something entirely due to the amazing sexy attitude and phenomenal acting talents of Eliza Dushku who portrays her.

I haven't decided what to title this fanfic but I will divulge the idea of it for those who are interested. Those who aren't, ehh... skip this post. Basically this story would ignore the series canon, well, not ignore so much as not broach what went on in the last two seasons because I personally feel they sucked ass and I don't want to focus on them. It takes place several years later, Faith at the age of 27 who is wandering from city to city, country to country, doing her duty as a Slayer.

During one such trip she has the wits to recognize bad demon from good demon and saves a very powerful supernatural being and its significant other. In gratitude, the demon casts a spell that will return the love that Faith longs for deep in her heart to her, no matter how impossible that might be. This spell brings back Faith's first Watcher, Annabel Cooper from my fanfic Neither Angels Nor Demons, from the dead.

Anna doesn't know what has gone on with Faith all these years because all she remembers is up to the moment she dies. Her return will point out a great many wrongs committed against Faith in her absence and a great deal of anger for all that happened to her young love due to her death. The story would be both uplifting and fairly angsty and full of a great deal of sex.

Sorry if I was bitchy with you way back when but for awhile... in fact, a few years, it seemed as if the only feedback I got fic wise was people who kept asking me to continue fics I was perpetually stuck on. Something I can't really help. If I have no desire to finish a fic I can't make myself do it. So that's probably what led to me being rather short with you I imagine.

Plus I'm sort of, well... a bitch at times. Heh. But I do apologize if I was mean, especially since you're such a sweetheart, Allaine.

Illustration has started for Out of the Well Episode One, in fact. It's going to show up in the next volume of Yuri Monogatari hopefully. Pat has it almost totally finished. I have the next three episode written on pen and paper, I just need to make myself type it out. Sad, isn't it? I'm so fucking lazy at times.

If you actually watched the last seasons of BtVS I'd appreciate your input on the Faith/Anna sequel fic just because... ehhh. I didn't watch at all and have only a vague idea of what went on. Mostly due to the fact I felt the show sort of began to suck in those seasons and I had residual rage about Tara's lame and needless death.

Just hearing the words "your shirt" still makes me twitch in anger.

Regarding BtVS, I was not one of those people who stopped watching after Tara's passing, although I grieved along with them. So I can give you a basic idea of what happened during Season Seven (overall, I would say it was better than Six, although the return of Faith, if welcome, lacked the emotional punch we expected because everyone was too busy fighting Evil. And Anya died. Waaaah!).

I was probably a little whiny about Greener Pastures. I think I may have also asked you about an unfinished Ranma story that took place after his wedding and involved two of the rejected ladies.

I do hope you will get the next segments of Well out shortly. I don't know how much feedback you have received on those chapters, but they're a very funny (and slashy) version of the soaps. Ah, a world where lesbians can have girlfriends. If only such a place existed in Pine Valley, U.S.A. I'd be willing to type them out myself, except, you know, you'd have to type them so I'd know what to type :P

One other update I'm waiting on - what wild and crazy thing will the president of Sanford Brown do next? :D
