I don't like looking for things. I am not good at it. In fact, I suck horribly. That's why I tend to keep my shit in the same place and why I am super anal about my work place environment. When I managed retail my stores were always in perfect condition in terms of merchandising and I clearly labeled all of my store supplies so even a retarded monkey could figure out what was going on.
My desk at my law firm is pretty much immaculate. I mean, it's stuffed with tons of files but they're all in their proper place, filed by due dates, and the ones that are odd files that aren't in that order are labeled very goddamn clearly.
I have a hanging folder for: High Amount Recs, Continuances, Daily Calls.
I have inboxes for: New Files, Follow Ups, Closed Files, Recs Due First.
This shit is easy to understand and I get tons of compliments on my anal ass ways when it comes to my desk. My coworkers? Not the same way at all. Shit spread everywhere and I've had to search around at least eleven times today for crap that's just... arghhhh! I hate having stuff not where it should be. I don't like being on a scavenger hunt! I suck at them.
Grrrr. I'm grumpy and I have my headache inducing Grammar class today. Grammar sucks so hard. Seriously it does. Also, another bit of crappy news is the lack of time I have because of work and school and trying to have a life with my gf means I've missed two Wednesday skate nights for Roller Derby.
As much as I love skating I don't think I have the time for it. Which sucks since I have how many pairs of skates? Uhm. Well, okay. Just two pairs but not using them sucks. But I'm so damn tired lately... I know I need to go tomorrow but I'm so wiped lately.
Bah. Whatever.
