The right side of my body has progressed to tingling. I think that means pretty soon I'll have my feeling back. That's my theory anyway. Behold the miracles of baby aspirin! lol.

Yesterday Michi and I went to the balloon glow event for the Great Forest Park Balloon Race which was super fun. We took Vlad with us and wandered around looking at all the balloons lit up at night.

Really pretty stuff. Michi had a good time in between constant asking me if I felt any better and if I wanted to go home. It's a little annoying and a lot fucking cute how she's fussing over me about this. She insisted I spend today just hanging out at her apartment.

But in the morning she snuck out and came back bearing gifts. The manga Peach Girl: Sae's Story, which is a spin off from one of my absolute favorite angst ridden shoujo series and totally made me squee in happiness on seeing it. I read that thing in maybe fifteen minutes I was so excited to see it. Now if only the anime would come over here legally I would be set.

She also got me Mind How You Go by Skye which is a cd I've been wanting for a really long time because it features a fantastic song called Love Show. It's a beautiful song and actually it was so great to listen to that song and cd while reading Peach Girl: Sae's Story. Totally fits the series.

Download the song from my above provided link! Those who are sad romantics like myself will adore it, pinky swear!

What else? Oh yes. Thanks to Michi I finally own the nonstop humor that is Eurotrip. Maybe it's not highbrow or classy humor but it's fucking nonstop and Scotty Doesn't Know is a killer song.

Anyway! Thanks to all of those who were concerned for my dinky well being. I'm feeling tingly instead of numb so I think that's an improvement. In the meantime I have to read Daisy Miller for my literature class. Blerh. I think I might be a bad girl and put it off and instead reread all of my previous volumes of Peach Girl. I'm so in a shoujo angst love triangle mood now.

Henry James don't play that.
