I worked on my unfinished S3 Danish fic All The White Horses this weekend. But not very much since I had to read seventy pages of Kate Chopin's The Awakening for my American Literature II class today but I did work on it. I plan on working on it some more this week. I'm going to post what I have for the fic on Saturday or Sunday for people to read and comment if they like.

Since people keep asking about this fic despite the fact it's been many long months since I updated it I figured I would give them this info. Of course, those same people who email me might not read my livejournal so what the hell. And again, people who do read it, those puny few, might not even give a fuck about this. In which case ignore this post.

I feel buzzed. Caffiene is having a weird effect. Bad Jolt Cola. Bad!

That is music to my ears. The Awakening is on my bookshelf. Would you recommend picking it up?

It's not that long a read. If you don't mind reading about Harlequin romance type stuff it's good and you can clearly see why it's considered a feminist piece of writing.

But just to put it simple and personal I liked the story quite a bit. Her writing style makes everything really easy to visualize and causes you to get quite attached to the characters.
