Big with the drama this week. Or so sayeth the promo involving Bianca/Reese this week. I'm cutting this for those who read my ramblings and aren't huge spoiler whores like myself. Aren't I polite?
I love this voice over guy. He makes me giggle with his super dramalicious reading. Anyway! The reason I'm purposefully delaying my next chapter is because of the spoilers hinted at in this promo. Mainly the fact that on Friday we get Big Papa Williams coming into town and Bianca finding out that Reese was engaged to some random dude named Simon way back when.
The spoilers about Simon and said engagement came out before the one with Reese's dad telling Binks about the engagement. So when I started writing A Thousand Glimpses I was figuring Reese told Bianca about the man shaped engagement. This promo has me thinking nope. Thus I have to rework my fanfic to fit that in that piece of information so it will stay canon and thus the delay on the next chapter because I was going to have Reese spill the beans about Simon and her unhappy situation with the parents. Now I'm trying to figure out what to have her angst about to Bianca without giving too much away since she appears to be something of a secret keeping machine.
Which is lame to me. I mean, how many secrets can one person really have? lol. Though it works in how I was imagining her background. In my head, Reese has had this complex about pleasing her parents since a child and her mom was such a control freak perfectionist that Reese has kept a lot of things about herself hidden just to keep from being hurt by her mother's judgment, you know? If you use that reasoning then secrets are unfortunately a big part of the norm of her existence for years but Bianca, well, girl hates her some secrets and lies.
Reese looks so sad at the end of this promo I want to hug her. This is the beginning of the various dramas surrounding their relationship though. Which, it's so evil of me because I love their cuteness, but as a soap opera fan I'm happy because I do love the drama and I know Tamara will be able to bring it with Eden. As long as their relationship is in tact, they're still in love, and getting married by the end of all this I'll be a happy camper.
And also, please no Reese/Zach drunk sex. And have Kendall forgive Bianca eventually. I know she'll be angry because she's Kendall and she holds a grudge and Bianca did a sucky thing but Kinks is love. Don't ruin that.

Your explanation for the secret keeping makes sense. I would expect that one of the things that Reese learns with Bianca is to stop hiding and keeping secrets. This could make for some great character driven angst - and make up sex :) - if the writers play their cards right.
Reese does look like she feels really bad about the whole thing, so it's going to be difficult for Bianca to be mad at those big brown eyes. Esp since isn't Binks also hiding that she got in touch with the parentals?

Now whether or not Bianca knows about Simon already hasn't been said but I'm thinking that's a big no. Because if Bianca knows about Simon then what's the point of having a spoiler mentioning that Reese's dad brings him up, right?
That's my thinking anyway. I wanted to watch the show and make sure I'm correct in my theories before finishing the latest chapter of the fic though. Because, you know, I'm fucking anal. lol. So nerdy.
