Watch This! New Years Drama

Bianca and Reese, why don't you resolve not to have drama? Yes? As if that could happen on a soap I love. If it did I would probably stop watching because it would become boring and that's the cardinal rule of a soap. To not become boring.

I've discussed this episode to death on the Bianca & Reese board. Or at least read other peoples discussion enough that I'm sort of exhausted analyzing my favorite lesbian couple. I do believe Reese treated Simon crappy in how she dumped him. I love Bianca's very Kane treatment in bringing Simon to the casino. I believe Reese truly is in love with Bianca and doesn't have some of deep dark manipulator secret past. I just think she was so fucking closeted that she learned how to be what people wanted because since she was a child, thanks to a messed up relationship with her mother, she never felt good enough on her own. Thus she became what she sensed people wanted.

Also, I don't believe Bianca is lying when she says she trusts Reese. As people keep harping, Binks is Erica Kane's daughter and it's a very Kane trait to live in the moment. In that moment, with Reese crying pretty tears and confessing her fear of losing Bianca how could she not trust Reese? The problem is when another moment arises, such as the ones listed in spoilers, Bianca will forget about that trust and give into insecurity.

Oh yeah, and Zach? I love you and your scruffy beard and your BFF status with Reese but please refrain from giving anyone relationship advice because you sort of don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Not that anyone in Pine Valley really does when it comes to that kind of thing. Maybe Uncle Jack. He's usually right about... well, pretty much everything.

This was was a really good episode. Eden and Tamara are really great together. Watch clips from top to bottom.

Yeah, it was very Kane of Bianca to bring the confrontation to the Casino. If I was either one of them I would've just punched Simon out. But that's me, and I am unfortunately not a Kane.

I'm with you one hundred percent on today's ep--excellent work and all your points were right on the money. I think Bianca does believe and trust Reese about "the Simon issue". Of course that isn't what's going to trigger another bout of distrust and insecurity and you know, fair enough. The audience is privvy to the state of Reese and Zach's friendship but Bianca isn't, hence the drama! And speaking of WTF looks, Bianca looks like Zach is off his nut when he makes those comments about honesty in a relationship. He almost seemed to be thinking out loud or commenting on his own relationship than offering insight about Bianca and Reese.
