I don't have much to say about this other than the drama has arrived. Oh, and that Bianca is so pretty in this episode. And pale. And filled with insecurity and Reese is cute when she plays with Bianca's hair. Also, Reese needs to learn how to wear a hard hat. Bob The Builder she's not.

i love you so much. you are absolutely fantastic. even if you wear your hard hat so incorrectly that it makes me twitch.
is it so hard to tighten the hat just slightly, push it forward on her head so it might actually DO something if tragedy strikes (i mean she is on a soap opera) and flip it around? it's just safe. no one said you had to be sexy in a hard hat.

I must make that hard hat icon. Her hair was also not so good. It upsets me. I love the image of her being handy and having a worn out toolbelt. lol.

Oy! What was that about, wearing the hard hat backwards? Who thought that it'd be cute? Reese wearing a hard hat, flannel shirt and tool belt would have been adorable. That was just...no. *shudders*
She did look like hell. And that's just so wrong.
I like it when Reese is all butched up, and I like it when she's all glammed up.
Inept!Reese who can't use her power tools = just no!

That little twirl Reese did for Zach is making me think that Mama Williams got her way after all and Reese did a lot more ballet after her ill-fated pirouette off the stage.

It's kind of amazing how these actors can just turn it on or off or somewhere in between. Most of the time, Tamara is very obviously keeping the sexy down when she's playing buddy-buddy with Zach and by contrast really turning it up with Eden. This is the first scene where the difference is not as great. It felt lie it was getting a little in OOC territory for the sake of overdramatizing which takes me out of the story. *sigh*

I'm not sure what to think about yesterday's scenes. I did like the playing with Bianca's hair. And Binks looked great. It was nice to see The Rack showcased as it deserves :).

The twirl thing was obviously inserted I think to make it from Bianca's insecurity laden perspective who is starting to see the Erica induced Reese/Zach connection.

Hard hat was lame and I too want Reese to be handy with power tools and a toolbelt. Her being bad at that stuff isn't cute. It's lame.

Ok, that makes more sense and is even kind of funny when you look at it this way. Seems like there's a cinematic convention where you zoom in to the person who's having the vision to make it clear it's what's going on in their heads, not reality. It wasn't executed quite correctly methink. Too bad, it could be quite fun. I want more Binks fantasizing about the hotness that is her gf :), maybe even about what she could do about it :p

Bianca should fantasize more. It would be happier certainly. lol. The scene wasn't shot very well but that's what I got when I saw it since we didn't see slow mo twirling actually start until Binks showed up eyeing Reese and Zach. So I thought it was from her viewpoint.

Hi...love your stories. Thanks for writing and sharing them with us. Thanks for posting the vid clips as well.

One question cropped up after viewing these clips. Does the constant doubt that Reese is the One for Bianca seem a little one-sided? What if Lena (or Maggie) pulled a Simon and showed up on Reese's doorstep one night looking to woo Bianca back?

It just seems a bit one-dimensional when we know that Bianca has a bit of history herself.

I don't think Bianca's insecurity is one dimensional purely from the fact that although they agreed not to talk about their romantic histories (stupid choice) now that Bianca does know about Reese's she is aware Reese shares two traits with all her ex-gfs.

1. She lied.
2. She was with men.

All of said ex's have also lied then left Bianca and lied then cheated on Bianca. Thus when she finds out Reese has those things in common to her I think it's pretty easy for her to be, "Oh shit. It's going to happen again." Then Erica points out weird Zach/Reese bonding? I get where Bianca is coming from. I don't agree with her thinking but I get it.

Reese would be insecure if one of Bianca's ex's showed up but that doesn't really mean Bianca is being one dimensional in her insecurity now. It just means that only Bianca has something to worry about, not Reese as pretty as she looks crying vulnerable tears.

I totally see your point and agree with it. I'll admit that I have only recently begun watching AMC again. The last time I saw an episode was pre-Lena, so I've missed some big moments.

But at what point do the AMC writers stop hitting us over the head with the insecurities in regards to Reese and Bianca's relationship? Clearly, we get it. Even I, a newbie to the world of "Breese" gets it.

Maybe now with the announcement of a double wedding, they'll lay off bagging on Reese for a while?

And maybe I'm just a sucker for pretty Reese, looking all vulnerable and teary-eyed? :)

I've been watching AMC since I was six consistently and I'm thirty now sooo... yeah. Sad. Anyway! Soaps hit plot points over and over and over to the point that it's slamming into your head like a huge anvil Looney Tunes style. That's how they do it. Sort of stupid but there you have it. The insecurity will last until some sort of huge event occurs which proves without a doubt to Bianca that Reese is 100% trustworthy.

Maybe the upcoming family in peril spoilers will do that? I dunno. But we'll have to deal with Insecure!Bianca for while unfortunately. But don't hate/frustrate the characters. They can't help how they're written. lol. Bianca getting pregnant using Zach's sperm without telling Kendall is incredibly out of character and I dislike it immensely but I won't blame her for it.

I don't think they're bagging on Reese at all. How they're portraying this whole thing pretty much does show Bianca being weirdly insecure. Reese keeps reiterating she loves Bianca and is a big old gaymo at every turn.

I do respect The Rack. If I did not then I would not care how Bianca is portrayed. I do understand why the character is written that way, but when I think about who her mother is, it makes me think WTF?

As Erica has said before, Binks is a Kane woman. Surviving Erica Kane as your mother and a rape and everything else, garners a lot of respect in my book for a chacter. And that may be why I find the insecurity a bit off putting as it is a Kane woman coming across to me as being weak, which I find difficult to believe.

As I have said before, I'm just getting back in to watching AMC after many, many years away.

I never followed the Maggie or the Lena storylines and I have no emotional ties to those actresses or those storylines. I came to this relationship between Bianca and Reese with no baggage other than Bianca is Erica's daughter, which means there's got to be a little fight in her somewhere. The fleeting glimpses of it that have been shown (like Binks today telling Mom to back off) make me hunger for more.

It is good to see that she can stand up to her mother and fight for her family.

In retrospect I do believe the whole Looney Tunes hammer over the head aspect of story telling that is common in soaps to be what initially drove me away from being a regular viewer.

The only reason why I watch AMC now is because of your story. For me, your portrayal of Bianca is far more believable than the one created by the AMC writers.

And yeah, the whole my brother-in-law is my baby's daddy even though my sister doesn't know it is out of character for Bianca. I just can't picture her on Jerry Springer, ya know?

Okay... obviously you think my post above has to do with you. It doesn't. I've been watching AMC for a long time and this is a perpetual thing with ships involving Bianca from Lena to BAM to Reese.

I was just pondering on it as I went back and read a few Bianca/Lena fanfics and they portrayed Bianca pretty crazily. Then I went on a few boards and read a bunch of posts bashing her.

And you don't have to lurk. I'm not sure how I came off to you but I was not irritated or angry with your post. I was just responding with my own thoughts on it. Glad you still like my stories after dealing with me though. lol.

Out of curiosity I too went read a few Lena/Bianca stories, and I agree, they did portray her crazily. Which is one of my biggest pet peeves with the way characters are written by shippers. (i.e. an example would be gratuitous use of explicit language when two characters are in bed, I can see the occassional naughty word being yelled out, but every other word, especially when the character has never uttered a "drat," bump me out of the scene)

The tough thing about the internet is that intent is often misunderstood. You did not come across as angry. And you seem to be a pretty easy person to like.

Dude. Sex scenes are made of badness in tons of Lena/Bianca fics. I dunno about BAM since I'm not a fan of that ship but I bet the same rules follow.

I've only read a handful of Frankie/Bianca fics I don't think they ever got to the sex but they were cute in their teen romance. I agree with the verbalizing. I was reading a post on another site about a rant on the whole issue of characters always talking and screaming during sex and how there are people who are quiet in bed.

I'm going to try to do that with Reese in my sex scene so we'll see how quiet sex turns out for that. lol. It could be good or bad.

As for me being easy to like, I hope so. My mommy loves me and she's the only one that counts. lol.
