Well done, Binks! You listened to the good advice of Ryan and Greenlee of all people. Only problem is you return home just in time to see Zach comforting Reese with a platonic kiss to the forehead.


I've said it before, I'll say it again, I'm a longtime fan of All My Children and I love Erica Kane. I know some people think she was particularly bitchy to Reese today and maybe she was. She did compare poor Reese to Krystal With A K which is an unnecessary slight but she was also just being Erica. There hasn't been one romantic interest, other than oh so perfect Ryan, that Erica has liked when it comes to her children. You want to date her kid? Be prepared for her to hate you. That's just how Erica rolls.

Personally, I'm entertained by it. I mean, it's why I love Erica and anyone who knows a little bit about the show knew she wasn't going to be welcoming Reese with open arms. I doubt Kendall would do that if she wasn't comatose. I dunno. I liked Erica today and I continue to like her but I've watched long enough to know Erica disliking the love interests of her children does little to effect the romance in the end. Also, I was very pleased that Bianca returned momentarily to her usual level headed self thanks to Ryan and Greenlee.

ETA: Dramalicious preview for next week. It's wrong I think Bianca looks pretty as she panicky yells, isn't it?

I don't know what to think about today's ep. Reese was so playful and sweet when she was begging Bianca not to go by herself. I didn't know that Binks had it in her to refuse to compromise when Reese offered to reschedule her commitments so she could go the next day. Either we're in OOC territory or Binks is pretty far gone by that point.

That dig about being on the phone to contractors the whole time not being romantic? Ouch! Something tells me Reese may have done this on a vacation before.
If so, she's going to hear it for the next 20 years.

Zach: that hug? Not a good move dude after Erica Kane already called you on hugging Reese.

Reese also knows the hugs are a bad idea at this point. For some reason, despite all the signs, she seems to have a hard time figuring out that her closeness with Zach is making Bianca all insecure.

It feels like everybody is acting a little off base - except for Ryan and Greenlee - in order to make the drama build up.

Yeah, everyone is acting off just to add more drama to the storyline. Reese was so huggable in this episode though. The dig sort of passed me by actually but I think passive aggressive digs would be a nice return to normal for Binks at this point. lol. I just edited my entry to include the previews for next week and the sad soap fan in me can't wait for the drama and medical impossibilities to start airing.

I guess it feels like cheating when the characters have to act OOC to supersize the drama. Oh well, they do have to crank out an hour of TV a day. This is why there's fic.

Thanks for sharing the preview, I watched it like, seven times and got more and more stoked every time... despite the fact that I'm sure Reese could totally crush Josh-the-walking-fetus if he didn't have a a gun.
Anyway... I just found out that I've been reading your anime fics for a long time; I hadn't realized that the same dreiser who is writing this awesome Breeze story is the same one who wrote some adorable Sailor Moon fics that I read years ago on shoujoai.com! Coincidence! I love it when good writers spread their love on more than one of my fave fandoms.
