Ren Faire

I'm totally nerdy but I had a ton of fun at the Renaissance Faire today. I took Vlad and Daisy with me and they were pretty much spoiled by all the attention they got. Including a near kidnapping incident from one of The Limeybirds who are a music/comedy act that performs each year. In September they apparently are doing a Pirate Fest and I'll have to go to that as well and bring the dogs. Daisy was so worn out by the time we got home and took a long nap which sadly is what I also did since I have my insomnia habit and didn't get a lot of sleep last night. Funny thing about Ren Faires and things of that nature, I always feel the urge to buy the shiny weaponry though lord knows what the hell I would do with a huge broadsword.

Amy brought up a good point though. Apparently at conventions whenever she starts drinking in order to keep from getting lost she wears a funky hat that can be seen easily in a crowd. I might have to make such a purchase.
