Plague Dogs

I just watched this movie last night and holy shit, it's more traumatizing than Watership Down and that scares the living crap out of me. Just because I'm twisted like that I have to link clips of the most fucked up scenes in the movie. The easiest thing to explain how fucked up this movie is would be just explaining the plot itself.

Plague Dogs is about two dogs escape from a laboratory and are hunted as possible carriers of the bubonic plague. Yeahhhhhh. As someone who loves her dogs dearly this movie made me sniffle.

My love of dogs means I definitely won't be watching these clips as otherwise i'll have to hug my two dogs too tightly and shudder. >.< I figure they're relaxing and don't need to see that.

That's pretty much what I did after I watched it. The thing was like a horrifying trainwreck though, I couldn't pull my eyes away from it. Then I found it was made by the same dude who did Watership Down and it all made sense.

Such a good movie, tho it ranks up there with 'Graveyard of the fireflies' for depressing.

Follow it up with 'The Breed'. The movie itself is cringe-worthy, but at least the dogs get their own back for the most part.
