The L Word aka my crackiest show addiction has released a clip for the new season and holy shit casting brilliance it has Lucy Lawless with accent playing a police sergeant. I knew she was going to be on the sixth season but making her a cop?! My fondness for hot butch women is making my heart go pitter patter. So excellent, seriously. Please, please, let her bond with Rose Rollins and they can celebrate their fabulousness together. Tasha was wanting to be a cop at the end of last season, after all. They can play seasoned veteran on the force and the spunky new rookie! C'mon? Pleaseeee?

Many years have passed since I was a somewhat babydyke fangirl of Xena but my Lucy love is so strong that just the fact she's playing the cop investigating this bullshit murder makes the storyline more tolerable. Also the fact that this clip reveals the person who dies most likely accidentally drowned in Bette and Tina's pool after doing drugs and drinking too much. Which is pretty typical of the characters on this show.

I never watched Xena, but Lucy Lawless is HOT. I love the idea of her playing a cop too.

I feel very iffy on the murder plotline for this season, but if things end up well for Tibette and we have Lucy in a cop uniform, things might be okay. ;)

I'm not really a fan of the Tibette pairing. Which is a huge understatement. lol. I think this murder storyline is complete bullshit and I'm convinced it's going to bring down Alice who is my favorite character on the show since she's the one getting the spin off.

All I wanted was Shenny coupley cuteness but no, instead we get dead lesbians. Bleh.

Yeah, I really thought Shenny was supposed to happen. And it looks like it might because of that picture that's been released of the two of them kissing...but they can't exactly have a happy ending if one of them's dead. D:

I love Alice too, and I was sooo happy when I found out that she's getting the spin-off, but I agree, how is that gonna work if she's the one taking the fall? It's rumored that the spin-off will be about her in prison, but I don't like that AT ALL. Our Alice needs to have a show about her hosting her own radio show and being her cute, sexy, funny self.

It's a travesty Lucy isn't on tv more. I watched BSG just for her. Though she is in a hilarious b-movie spoof called Bitch Slap. If you click on my watch this tags I have the trailer for it up on my LJ. She and Renee O'Connor play nuns in it. Most excellent.

I like to see a well targeted piece of marketing that squarely goes after its audience ;).

This looks like a crack!remix of Death Proof and a Girls in prison movie with lots of legs and boobies. Can't wait to see it :D.
