And lo, the Apple geeks saw all that Steve Jobs had made, and it was good. And there was the iPad, and there was fanboy squeeing--that very day.

Just six hours ago, I laid my palm upon my iPod Touch and made the oath NOT to run out and buy an iPad, let's see if I make it to my birthday in June without foresaking my pledge, LOL.

I'm saying this now, if Scrivener creates an app for the iPad there's no way I won't purchase this. The one thing that makes me hesitate is the lack of a good word processing/writing app and if Scrivener, my holy grail of writing programs, makes something for the iPad then I'm completely sold.

ETA: The developers of Scrivener have nixed the iPad idea. Apparently I'd have to use the WriteRoom app most likely and import into Scrivener. This depresses me. Maybe they'll change their minds in the future.
