It's A Tumor

So I just got done watching One Life To Live and for those of you who aren't aware, Tea Delgado has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. She just got news she has a few weeks to live and as her condition degrades she won't be able to recognize her loved ones and will eventually lose her ability to communicate and care for herself completely.



Tea being Tea, doesn't want Todd or her daughter, Danielle, to see her in this condition. She tells them she's going to a hospice that can take care of her and she doesn't want them to follow. She intends to die alone.

Duuuuuude. Kelley Missal, who portrays Danielle, was so fucking awesome. I mean, I've been loving the tragic mother/daughter bonding ever since Dani found out about Tea's condition but seeing her just go off in rage and grief about Tea's decision today was just epic. It was totally heart wrenching and reminds me why I'm a sad sap and love my soaps so much. I'm totally posting video of their scenes soon as they're uploaded on YouTube to put in this post to share. I absolutely think they're that good.

I really really really hope Tea gets some miracle cure. I can't imagine why they would want to permanently remove Tea from the OLTL landscape, even if Florencia Lozano wants to leave the show. Although there has been no news in the soap opera world of that being true. Seriously. If they kill Tea with this thing I'll be so crushed.

Also, Blair and Tea now being BFF's is totally awesome.

ETA: Video of awesomeness. It's so sad and yet I love it. I just want to hug Dani and Tea. Also, I cannot read the OLTL forums on TWOP. They are such Tea haters there. I dunno what the hell is their problem.

I knooooow! I'm pretty sure we'll get one. FL isn't leaving the show, she just needs a break to do a play she wrote, which is being performed in Argentina. I think that's why Tea's being put in a hospice. Current theory is that Greg might be Evil Eli's accomplice and he's drugging Tea somehow.

Why he's doing this who knows. I just really hope something wacky ends up saving Tea in the end because I really love the character and I adore all the TnT family scenes. Now that Tea and Blair get along they can have this odd hilarious modern family dynamic with all the kids and Todd.

It's so weird having Blair be nice to her, lol. Especially since I ship both Blair and Todd, and TnT..I don't know who to root for!!! I'm so confused! I wanna cry. Especially since Blair is with the serial killer..isn't she always though? If it's not Todd, it's a murderer. Oh, Blair...so sad.

I think Blair/Tea have mad subtext lately. Enough that on and off I've been working on fanfic for them. Even though it'd never happen on the show I love the idea of them as an OT3. lol. Jack would have a field day with that.

I know, what is with Blair and murderers. She had a break from that with John but he was all in brooding love with Marty while married to Blair. Lame. How cute was Jack wanting to talk to McPain about Eli being a psycho killer?

Todd has the best children on the show, I swear. They're so entertaining. Hahaha. It's halfway done. I was thinking Blair and Tea have sex to "get it out of their system" and in the end it doesn't work so they're like, wtf, we'll just tell Todd and try to work something out since they both admitted to him being the proverbial love of their lives.

At least Kendall is coming back on AMC next week. I do squee everytime JR and Annie are on screen together. I love them like burning. I'm hating the return of Rylee but lets be real, someone had to be sacrificed to the true love for Ryan and I rather have it be Greenlee than Kendall. I wouldn't be surprised if Little Budig opts out of her contract after this crap though.

I do love Christina Bennett Lind as Bianca. I wish she was on more. Hopefully she'll get some good scenes with Alicia next week.

It's the weirdest thing, the Manning kids...they are so well written. They are just perfect mixes of Blair and Todd. I love them sfm.

AMC..i can't stand it. I hate what they've done to Breese, I do like NuBianca though. She's cool. It's hilarious to me that She and Eden tweet each other, and she refers to herself as NuBianca lmao. As for Rylee, omg I hate it..it's like there are no words. Poor Budig. Divorce and Ryan all in the same year..poor bb. I kinda ship Greenlee and David. I can't help it! They are both twisted, I'm sick like that. In fact a couple months ago, when he was with Amanda and it was a day when he lost everything..I tweeted Chrishell and said "I felt bad for David today, is that wrong?" and she actually wrote me back and said "Nope, not wrong at all" I was more excited than I should have been lmao.

I have remote hopes of getting Tamara back since she's done filming her movie now or maybe at least a Reese recast. But despite my hope they are dropping anvils of an off screen Bianca/Reese break up. Super lame.

Though it's way too late for Greenlee/David, I ship them too. They're being sacrificed at the alter of Ryan right now though. At this point I'm thinking maybe Liza and David is an option in the future. I can't stand smug Tad and Damon. I fast forward all their scenes and Colby is insufferable.

If Tams came back, I might actually watch more than occasionally. I don't think she will though. She was really pissed with how they handled the storyline. A recast would make more sense than ANOTHER off screen breakup, though. Why is Bianca never allowed a happy? So laaaaaaaame!

Also, I'm really sick of David being AMC's Todd. Especially now that Zach is gone, they have no one else to blame shit on. Jake needs to stop being so sanctimonious, and nobody else interests me in the least. Kendall needs to hurry up, and make things more interesting before I die of boredom.

Well, Todd has his family at least. David doesn't even have that. Ocassionally Marissa remembers he's her dad but she's made of so much boring it's hard to accept he's her father.

Tamara was pissed but you never know. Plenty of soap actors have left shows pissed off about their story lines only to come back later. Bianca is never happy for long. It's like an irrefutable fact or something.

I have no idea how David produced such a boring child. It seems almost impossible. I always wanted Erica and Adam to somehow have a kid together. Can you even imagine? lol. Their offspring would be made of soap awesome.

Is this actually an impossibility? Erica always turns out to have one mystery child or another, would it be so outlandish? Wasn't there a storyline in the early 90s where Erica was with Dimitri and Adam was in some custody battle with Dixie over Jr? Couldn't AMC rewrite history and say that Erica had a one night stand with Adam and then "took off" to Europe for a while with Dimitri when she was really popping out some kid in a convent in Idaho? Or something? I don't know! lol

Since Adam is off the show now I really don't think there's much chance we'll get a secret kid of his and Erica's showing up. The only custody battle over JR happened with Dixie and Tad vs. Adam but that had nothing to do with Erica. If Adam was on the show still, maybe, but since he's gone, I doubt it would ever happen.
