I will upload scenes from today's episode as soon as they hit YouTube, you guys. I simply must. It was SO GOOD and makes me incredibly sad this show has been cancelled.
Okay, before I ramble about why I loved today's show so much I have to confess, and I know this might be blasphemy for a lot of femslash AMC fans, but I'm starting to love Christina's Bianca more than Eden's Bianca. I can't explain why this is but the more I watch Christina as Bianca the more I love her and I wish she had more time with the character because she's just fabulous in the role. Also, I'm feeling completely overjoyed Agnes Nixon is writing the final storylines for the show which means shit will be awesome. Especially for Bianca since Agnes did such a incredible job with Bianca's coming out storyline back in the day.
Anyway! For those who haven't been watching Kendall discovered her husband Zach's (who died in a plane crash no body recovered because it crashed in the ocean) death wasn't an accident. It was murder. His plane was sabotaged by Ricky Torres who is just pretending to be a nice friendly Reverend! He's a big bad guy involved with mafia and gambling and... uhh... he's just bad, okay? He's also scary in love with Kendall who has been playing him in order to find evidence he murdered Zach to get justice for her dead husband.
Kinks being Kinks, Kendall tells Bianca about her wacky and dangerous scheme. Bianca doesn't approve but Bianca loves Kendall lots and lots and keeps mostly quiet about her reservations with Kendall's plan. But Bianca sort of sucks at pretending unlike her big sis and can't hide the fact that she loathes Ricky. Yesterday he overhears her telling Miranda to stay away from him and Ricky tricks her into being alone with him where he promptly confronts Bianca having a hate on for him in a totally creepy and threatening way.
Ricky, not being stupid, soon figures out Bianca knows he murdered Zach and is a general bad guy. He attacks her and OH MY GOD they have a scary awesome sad moment where Bianca flashbacks to Michael Cambias raping her and she freaks the fuck out and it's fucked up and horrible and Christina is such a great actress in the scene. Thankfully Ricky doesn't sexually assault/kill Bianca but knocks her out and for whatever reason takes her back to his room at the Yacht Club where Marissa happens to see Bianca slung over his shoulder and follows her natural instinct to focus completely on Bianca because Bianca is all important to Marissa (as she should be) and follows Ricky into his room.
She asks one too many questions and Ricky is all, "You have bad timing, Marissa." The next thing you know our intrepid heroines are tied up together and locked in a closet. Seriously. A closet. If this wasn't such drama filled moment and Bianca dealing with horrible stuff I'd find it ironic funny. Marissa wakes up first and goes back to worrying about Bianca who is still having rape flashbacks and when she snaps out of it she screams, "Get the hell away from me!" And it ends with Marissa being even more worried about her ladylove.
YOU GUYS. :::Flails wildly::: You don't even know! I've been wanting for them to deal with the after effects of Bianca's rape ever since it happened and it's finally a storyline but the show is about to go off the air. Marissa is so concerned and caring and Bianca is so tormented and aughhhhhh I love it so. It's horrible but I do. I can't wait to see where this goes.
Ah ha! I found it! Beginning of the video, 0:50, 4:12, 6:48, and 11:31 are the Bianca scenes.
