I really seem to be. I mean, I'm writing the sequel to a sequel for the Whip It fanfic series featuring Babe Ruthless/Iron Maven but honestly? I love writing the bits with Smashley the most because her character just cracks me up. Drew's portrayal is utterly hilarious and totally endearing and it's bad enough that I'm amused by the lines that I'm writing for her. Such as this one which had me cracking up enough I felt compelled to post about it.
“This is so thunderdome,” Smashley remarked, clapping her hands excitedly. When everyone looked at her in confusion, she elaborated with wild hand gestures, “Two men enter, one man leaves! It’s totally epic. Ruthless is Tina Turner and that blonde chick is Mel Gibson before he got all bigoted and crazy.”
“Smashley, I told you to stop getting high before practice,” said Razor in long suffering tones.
“I’m nooot!” Smashley wailed, skating around Razor discontently.
Not that I could ever write serious fic for Smashley. She's too comedic for that but she is such fun to write.
