My favorite time of the year, the airing of the Eurovision song contest is coming, and here I am with a post of the most stand out entries. Whether they be good, bad, or just plain weird, they stand out. If you're interested in watching the show you can see it on May 25, 27, and 29th streaming live on the eurovision.tv website.

Albania: Juliana Pasha, It's All About You

Pretty typical club song but I dig it.

Estonia: Malcolm Lincoln, Siren

This is kind of weird but I don't know... it's compelling somehow. lol. I had to post it to share at least.

Slovakia: Kristina, Horehronie

I love everything about this entry but I'm a sucker for traditional song and dress.

Latvia: Aisha, What For?

AUGHHHHH! The staring eyes! It's freaky as fuck! Dude. I sort of love this. It freaks me out but I love it. I don't want Latvia to win since they suck at doing a good Eurovision show though. Terry Wogan only saved the last one from being a festival of boredom along with Sertab and Sir Terry is retired thanks much Graham Norton. Not.

Serbia: Milan Stanković, Ovo je Balkan

Androgynous is thy name.

Bosnia and Herzegovina: Vukašin Brajić, Thunder and Lightning

Decent rock entry. I wonder if can make it very far though. Rock entries don't have good luck really.

Malta: Thea Garrett, My Dream

Malta always sends bad ass singers and it bums me out they don't get many votes.

Greece: Giorgos Alkaios, OPA

This is so fabulous but I love loud and shiny and dancing and opa! lol.

Iceland: Hera Björk, Je ne sais quoi

Goth outfit, good dance/club music, Eurovision fabulous entry. Yay, Iceland!

Lithuania: InCulto, East European Funk

This is so odd with the kazoos and the lyrics and it really had to be posted. I like it for some reason. It's sort of ska in a strange way. Not completely but it's getting there. It's probably why I like it since I love ska. The more I watch this the more I love it. I think it's probably one of my favorite entries. lol. I'm sad, I know. I love the funny/weird. OMG! Sparkly underpants! Okay, I officially love this entry. I want it to win.

Germany: Lena, Satellite

Every year Germany sends a new genre of music. I dunno which one this is in. Blues? Amy Winehouse? It's good though. I hope she gets far, she deserves to. She can actually sing. Needs a better wardrobe though. Eurovision is petty that way.

Ukraine: Alyosha, Sweet People

Ukraine, noooo! Why do you suck?!? I love you every year but now you suck! This is an unforgivably boring entry from you. This is upsetting. I have loved every entry you've ever produced until now. I feel betrayed. Travesty!

Turkey: maNga, We Could Be the Same

Thank you, Turkey, for not sucking. You're my other favorite country and you didn't let me down. At least one country's streak of always being made of awesome in Eurovision has not been ruined this year.

Sweden: Anna Bergendahl, This Is My Life

Sweden always sends pretty blonde singers. This year they changed it up. She has an acoustic guitar! lol. Seriously though? This is a good song and performance. Nice.

Netherlands: Sieneke, Ik ben verliefd (Sha-la-lie)

I posted this because it reminds me of the seventies and a little kids show. I dunno what's up with it.

Croatia: Feminnem, Lako je sve

Thank you, Croatia. You are the new Ukraine.

Georgia: Sofia Nizharadze, Shine

Dude. The pretty.

United Kingdom: Josh Dubovie, That Sounds Good to Me

You're still not trying, are you, UK? It's sad.

France: Jessy Matador, Allez Ola Olé

France, you're fucking awesome. This is a decent club song and I'm not laughing at the guy doing it. He's actually pretty cool. Way to go. Maybe you'll get past the Eastern voting block.

Moldova: Sun Stroke Project & Olia Tira, Runaway

This will either be really good or really bad live. I'm not sure. I usually love Moldova performances though.

Romania: Paula Seling & Ovi, Playing With Fire

I love this for some absurd reason. It's simple and fun.
